I have had time to work with this chair, and it's very comfortable. I just ended up putting a 3 inch memory foam cylinder, and between the seat and the back of the chair and it works really good. I have been trying to many different things. So this is written two weeks after my first comment. I would recommend this chair. And the company was really easy to work with nIt's advertised as leather and it is not, more like a corduroy. There isn't any lumbar support whatever. When chair is extended there is at least a 10"-12" gap making it very uncomfortable. It was shipped quickly with both boxes included, and easy to assemble. There is a small pillow that may help to fill in the gap but not sure how comfortable it will be. Hopefully I will only need the chair for a short period of time.

Bought this for sister who just entered a care facility. It was delivered even before the promised date. The employee tasked with putting these chairs together when they arrive told her he has seen dozens of lift chairs and that this is a VERY, VERY nice chair. Because space in her room is such a premium, we wanted a dual motor chair so she could lift the legs without having to fully recline. This fits the bill perfectly. She says it’s extremely comfortable and allows her to get up without having to call for staff to assist her to stand. Having this lift chair will help her maintain some degree of independence. So it’s been a blessing during a difficult time for her.

Have had the recliner for about 6 months. It works well and is comfortable but the velour-type material is already flattening and looking very worn. I wanted to buy a second one but not sure I will do that if seat material will not stand up to daily use.

I love everything about my new recliner. Extremely comfortable and is the perfect color. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The two boxes arrived together and instructions were easy to follow. I put it together myself (70+ woman) although the arms would have been easier to assemble with a little help. My husband likes the lift assistance. The footrest is a little short and doesn’t raise as high as you would expect - as mentioned in other reviews - but he 6’ and it is comfortable. Maybe a little unstable when in max lift position? All in all, a good purchase. I would say it is good value for the $$.

Good experience...high risk purchase but reviews and customer support person helped me decide to purchase with baited breath...but worked out well...Carton came beat up but chair was protected and worked out of the box..so far so good after three months

Feels so much better to step out of the chair and not have to push up and out using my arthritic knees. I love the heat and massage plus, this chair has great support for my back. It looks great in my room.This chair is more than I hoped for!
