Edexcel AS/A level Biology B Student Book 1 + ActiveBook

Very good

Current core coursework book for the A Level Biology. Its getting a LOT of use from my daughter. Its worth checking if you can get the digital version for FREE from the school or college (my daughter can, she just wanted the physical book too) as it seems a lot offer this as part of the accredited course to their students. Even if not for this particular book, it might save someone some £££s. Good price on Amazon for this book. Unable to find cheaper anywhere else.

The best books for the new spec as far as I can see. The answers are also available on thier website, which is certainly useful. Not the most concise of textbooks; it has lots and lots of extra detail and extra reading sections at the end of each topic. I guess that's useful if you've got plenty of time, but I personally skipped over them. Would recommend book 2 too.

If you are doing, or planning to do, your A-levels then this is a must have item.Stop kidding yourself, it's worth the money!And don't buy it secondhand! You get access to an online e-version code with a one time use, so if you want to save money and get a second hand version...you will, but you will miss out on a great e-platform.
