Outdoor Research Men's Echo L/S Duo Tee

This is both the lightest and thinnest long sleeve shirt that I have worn. Truthfully, you hardly feel like you're wearing a shirt at all. I opted to purchase it because I have been very happy with both of the Echo short sleeve t-shirts that I own and I wanted something similar for layering. Great for cool summer nights, wooded hikes, and early fall. It is quite breathable while offering some basic protection from the sun. It wicks water and sweat away, dries quickly, and is not particularly absorbent, all good things when the weather is unpredictable. It claims to assist with odor control, which I am willing to give it credit for. I'm not generally a stinky person, but I did not reapply antiperspirant or shower during a recent weekend car camping trip and the shirt came out smelling way better than the rest of my clothes. I grab it when I want to be ready in case it gets a little cool but don't feel like bringing along the heavy stuff.

I have many Outdoor Research Echo Duo Tees, short and long sleeves. I always order a large because I like them a little loose. This large is 2-inches wider than all my other Echo tees. It’s more like the size of an extra large tee or XXL.I would like to exchange it for a medium, however there is not an exchange option, just a return option. NOW if I want to buy a medium, the price is much higher than what I paid for the large.I called Outdoor Research and talked to them about the sizing. They said that the seller could be selling irregular shirts, so they couldn’t really give me a good answer regarding the sizing. All the tags state "LARGE" and there is no sign of an irregular tee.Pros: The Echo Tees are light-weight. They take a beating (hiking, backpacks, etc.) and keep on ticking. They keep their shape, and the fabric stays nice through all the wear and washes.I’d rate this shirt 5-Stars if the fit was like all my other Echos, however based on the sizing and the fact that I can’t get the medium at the same price as the large, I have to rate this shirt and the seller 2-Stars. If I hear from the seller, I will adjust my review.

Great shirt to use hiking, mountaineering and backpacking. Keeps the sun off of your skin, but yet is not too hot, somehow keeps you cool. Great product. It is also easy to rinse in a mountain stream and it will dry quickly. I wish they made along sleeve polo version of this short (polo shorts are good at keeping the sun off of your neck).

I have a few LS and SS Echo shirts. I love them for travel because they pack so small and dry so fast. They're great in hot weather.

Nice t shirt, good breathability, good stretchability. The downside is it is very THIN, too thin actually. You need to wear something beneath it.

This shirt is super light weight, very thin...too thin. It is actually somewhat see through. I could see my nipples through the shirt. While I am not excessively hairy, I could see the texture of my chest hair under the shirt. This doesn't happen with any other shirt I own. My hair isn't thick and I trim it. I wish it were just a little less revealing because I would love to keep this shirt.

Fabulous material, construction and design, but it runs small. Wish it was a little roomier.
