Very nice,sharp, slightly short handle
It's a very lovely knife sharp. Got some weight ,but not too heavy. Sliced a watermelon no problem. I have pretty small hands , and this handle is smaller then my other knives[assrt brands] . It's a lovely handle if if short. It could be slippery if oil or water on hand so use caution. It's a oval shaped handle, with no finger rest. I realize it's it's carver , but at 12ninches not 10, just pointing it out. It's a lot of knife. I'm going to go back to slicing my watermelon now. Last thought. Because it's so long. Any sheath would have been nice for storage

Perfect slicing knife
My boyfriend, who loves to cook, was in need of a good slicing or carving knife. This one was recommended on a food blog and my boyfriend loves it! The blade is definitely long enough for slicing meats, but he also uses it for slicing vegetables and other foods with ease. It came very sharp. However, the box should have been taped shut as the inserts in the box had moved around during shipment.

Great knife, well balanced, firm blade and sharp.
Absolutely no issues with the knife, just the packaging which is simply a slip lid that came off during shipping and allowed the knife to bounce around inside the Amazon box. No damage to the knife but something that could be easily corrected with a rubber band or tape to hold the lid on.

Competent and good value knife
Good competent knife for the price. Not a high end brand, but not a cheap poor quality blade either. Performs well slicing thru brisket and roasts, just not something you're going to display for show
