This is just what I Wanted
I needed a weatherproof 50 amp socket for the outside of our home. This fits the bill nicely. Better yet, the socket is recessed far enough behind the cover that the cover closes all the way when my big plug with a handle is used. It is just right. The metal box is thick and sturdy, the punch-outs require determination and maybe good tools.

Sturdy box, but weak outlet
Purchased to hook my Class A up at my son’s house. Not my 1st install.Box is heavy gauge steel. Power coating is thick. Well built and sturdy. Overall a great box.My only issue was the quality of the 50amp outlet itself. Trying to connect 6ga wires was almost impossible. Managed to destroy the thin, weak clamp/ screw connectors on the outlet. Went to a local hardware store and got a good quality replacement outlet. After that, connections were a snap. Was still a lower priced option, even with the cost of a better outletWorks great with quality outlet , waterproof, nicely sized.

Needs pop out hole in top.
Needs a pop out hole in the top. Bit to drill such a large hole is very expensive when mounting under circuit breaker box.

Knock outs are not stamped through - You'll need a hole saw!
Buy a different box. Knock-outs are not stamped through, so you'll need a hole saw to make your wire access hole. Don't try to knock them out or you'll bend the body of the box. Also, the receptacle plate inside is secure by 2 VERY tiny screws (see the product pics). My guess is the used 2 because if you drop one, you'll not be able to find it.

Fair electrical supply box.
The box is very heavy duty need a good steel hole saw to cut the access opening if it's different than provided. That's a good thing in my opinion, what I didn't like and I think makes this a non starter if you are using it as a true 50 amp supply receptacle is the screws are Phillips to tighten the wire, anyone with any handy skills knows you can't tighten Phillips very tight that and the fact that the screw goes through the middle of the opening for the wire, if you are using 6 gauge copper as you should you have to split the wire and force it in the opening around the screw. Any pressure at all on the wire and it comes loose. You can't see inside the box to tell it's no longer connected. If you were using 10 gauge or higher it would be ok, definitely not ok for 6.
