Great Mouse, great value, would recommend!
This mouse has been a game-changer for me. The vertical ergonomic design is not just a gimmick; it actually makes a significant difference in reducing the discomfort associated with prolonged mouse usage. it gives solid palm support, it's clearly designed with people who spend long hours at the computer in mind, it has helped me a lot with work 5 days a week in front of a computer. One standout feature of this mouse is its rechargeable capability. Battery capacity is good, I have only charged once for 20 days of 9-5pm and being able to recharge is great also as this eliminates the need to constantly purchase and replace batteries, which is not only eco-friendly but also cost-effective in the long run and I find AA or AAA mice more heavy. Even better, you can continue to use the mouse while it's charging, ensuring uninterrupted workflow or gaming sessions.Lastly, the mouse offers 5 adjustable DPI levels. This flexibility in sensitivity, enhances precision and control depends what task or software I am using. In summary, this ergonomic mouse has exceeded my expectations. It's a comfortable, rechargeable, and highly responsive device that caters to the needs of those who use a mouse extensively. Would recommend, great value too!

Great alternative to standard mouse for wrist strain
I work long hours at my PC and have always wondered about these vertical mice. This one is very attractively priced but seemed to have enough features to be good value so I decided to test it out. You can feel the difference immediately compared to a normal mouse - just try now lifting your hand off your mouse and rotating it up slightly. It immediately feels better and this is definitely the case using this mouse. It feels very strange to begin with but after using for a couple of days you do get used to it and now it feels quite normal. It's pretty big (see pic compared to my Logitech MX Master2) but it kinda needs to be for your hand not to slip off.Operation aside, it feels really well made as with all Tecknet stuff and the packaging is refreshingly simple - just a box and couple of recyclable bags inside containing the mouse and USB C charging cable. Can't comment on the battery as it's not run out yet but others can give reviews on that I'm sure. This is just USB, not Bluetooth but the dongle is tiny and a nice touch is that it magnetically snaps back into it's slot on the bottom when not in use.Overall well made, great size and features and brilliant value. If you're thinking about it then this is a great one to try with.

Very comfortable in your right hand
This mouse is difficult to rate, so I'll just describe my experience with it.It arrived well packed in a plain brown box in excellent condition. I connected the charging cable to the mouse and found my first "problem" - the cable isn't very long so I couldn't plug it into a USB port on my PC and had to use a mobile phone charger in a wall power socket. The cable connector to the mouse is C-type but a small C as the charging cable for my mobile phone (also C-Type) won't fit. The mouse charged up quite quickly as it already had some charge. The charge indicator light is tiny and really on the wrong side of the mouse as its hidden by the shape of the mouse and covered by ones right hand whilst in use.I then powered down my PC, inserted the USB radio connector into a rear USB port and powered up. Once booted, Windows 10 immediately recognised the new device and installed the necessary drivers and the mouse was working. Pressing a button behind the wheel steps through the DPI settings - this effectively changes the "speed" the mouse moves about the screen. The mouse buttons work well. If left unused for a while it goes to sleep but a quick press on the wheel wakes it up.In use, I find it awkward to pick up off my desk and have to slide it off the edge and catch it in my other hand. I suppose you could leave leave the mouse switched on permanently, but I prefer to switch it off when not in use. This needs a finger nail to operate the tiny embedded switch!I don't have a mouse mat and have always used my mouse directly on the desk top, but I may have to get one, as I find the mouse tends to stick slightly which then makes it awkward to position the arrow accurately on the screen with it jumping about a little. This tendency is exacerbated if you've got the DPI set high (there's no indication of what DPI is set, by the way.)Finally, one problem I think I've had is that if the mouse button is pressed quickly a number of times without break (for example, if stepping through digital pictures in a folder) then it stops working and one has to wait a short time before trying again.I bought this mouse to replace Logitech MX series mouse which was nearly 20 years old and I didn't like the cost of the current equivalent.Would I recommend it? Probably. Its comfortable in the hand, the buttons are conveniently placed and my wrist lies flat on the desk.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Addition---------------------------------------------------------------------------------I've now been using this mouse for a while and would make a few minor changes to my report above.1. I've learnt how to pick the mouse up with one hand: thumb in the curved left side and little finger under the right side ridge, squeeze and lift.2. If its gone to sleep: a click on the mouse wheel quickly wakes it up.3. Occasional failure to click: It still fails to click and this may be a red herring, but I had occasion to lend it to my young Grandson when he visited with his laptop and had forgotten his own wireless mouse, when he'd finished with it, I "stuck" the USB connector into a front socket for ease of reconnection in case I had another request to borrow it. I suspect it's my imagination but I get the impression it's become more responsive - it might also have something to do with the mouse mat I bought.4. I think its now worth 4 stars.
