OMC filter replacement
It's proven impossible to find a local boat shop that carries the larger diameter threaded water filters so finding this on line finally allowed me to replace a filter way overdue for replacement. Also the local shop's prices are inflated compared with on line shopping. Visual comparison to the OMC original showed no apparent differences. The new filter's micron rating was better than the OEM listing although there was no external indication of the specs on the OEM casing. Installation was typical spin on and accomplished in moments. A quick prime and the engine cranked and allowed a good long test run. No hesitation or problems so far. The filter operates as advertised, but I always carry a new spare on board for replacement out on the water. The vendor delivered the filters on time and in undamaged condition.

Marine Gas/Water filter, that works!!!
The two motors are very important to my quality time when salmon/steelhead fishing. The expensive of a filter is nothing compared to having to take the motors in for repair. Bad gas or water in the gas can cause a maybe good day to quickly bad day. Change your gas filter............
