Nosy Crow Ltd There's a Bear on My Chair

Our 18 month old loves this book, to the extent of demanding it at every possible opportunity. She can fill in the words for most lines: "There's a ..."."Bear!"/"on my..."/"Chair! Mouse!"This familiarity with the story did however highlight a minor flaw in this edition: the line "Perhaps if I give him a scare" has been changed to "Maybe I'll give him a scare" which doesn't flow quite as well, and which causes consternation on the part of our daughter, who also has the paperback edition with the original line.Still, it's fantastic that she can read this one without tearing the pages in excitement, so overall a big win!

I love! The size of this book however I must say I feel as though the story ends too abruptly however that's just me...The illustration is great and the font a good size for little readers. My 2year old seems to like it.

There is not much to say, but brilliant for small children and would entertain the adults that reads, as well.

Funny, beautifully illustrated, and a firm favourite with my daughter. I've read it dozens of times, and I'm not completely sick of it, so that's a win! Will look for others by this author.

THERES A BEAR IN MY CHAIR My two year grandson loves this book so much I also bought THERES A MOUSE IN MY HOUSE. The illustrations are brilliant plus the wording is simple and musical easy for young ears to understsand.
