These batteries may fit the radio, but they do not line up with the charging terminals in the charger. Do not waste your money on these.

Standard for UV-82 series of Baofeng radios.Will not fit Uv-82 V2+.Came well charged.

This specifically advertises that it works for the uv-82 models, but as you see in the pictures there is a mismatch on the battery positive and negative. It's not something you can simply just pop off and switch. This is a completely different battery that will not work with any of your chargers. Don't waste your money, you're not even able to get through to them for customer support.

Got these because they were cheap, didn't realize they didn't match the charger. Couldn't find one that did, tried modifying my old charger to accommodate them. If you can find the right charger or modify one and move the positive over just a bit I would highly recommend for the price. Otherwise spend the extra. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. Used each one until they were dead now they're just sitting there and I don't want to spend anymore time trying to find the right charger. Hopefully others don't have this problem because they're fair priced compared to other batteries for the baofeng.

While this battery may very well fit and operate a UV-82 series radio just fine, it will not charge in a Baofeng OEM charger, or a compatible third-party charger as the charging contacts are incorrectly placed from original batteries. The attached photo shows a genuine BL-8 battery on the left with the Elxjar battery on the right. Notice the position of the '+' contact is where the 'T' blank is on the Baofeng battery, meaning that it doesn't make contact with the terminals on the charger. So i never even bothered to put it in a radio; just returned it and will get more BL-8s.

It is a very 5ight fit to your radio requiring equal strength to remove it when you need to but other than that a good battery that extends time and length on your radio.

These claim to fit the UV-82 (and they do) but do NOT fit the UV-82 Charger. The contacts are in the wrong location and do NOT line up with the Charger contacts. I returned them for a full refund.
