This is a great headgear for competition, it’s doesn’t protect much specially not your nose so it forces you to use head movement and keep hands up but it’s a solid headgear, I suggest a size medium if you don’t know what size to get, you can make it tighter or just leave it loose, it’s a good middle point in size.

Insanely love it, try to get it a size upper since it did get a bit tight when i got my size but other than that insane headgear very light

In my experience I've had great success with the Contender Headgears, unless you're planning on shelling out many hundreds of dollars for Reyes or Winning, I think this is one of the best cheek protector headgears I've worn for the price.

I select middle size, it's a little bit slow, this headgear can only relieve the pain and screach, but it cannot reduce the impact

A little snug. I like to think I have a normal sized head for a 6’2” 235 lbs person, but the laces on the back are almost all the way open on this bad boy for me. I still have enough string to knot it so I don’t mind, but I’d be curious to feel a size larger. But that being said, It’s snug and when tightened it doesn’t move around hardly at all unless I really catch a hook to the face... and even then... can barely feel anything with this baby!
