I wanted to start this review off with a couple of key points. First off, I have shopped and purchased goods on Amazon almost daily since 2011 and I can count on one hand the number of times that I have been compelled to leave a product review. Second, and really the whole point of this review, the Mooer White Hornet amp is the epitome of "value" in today's guitar market, meaning the cost versus reward is simply phenomenal.Now on to some details, for those that may be interested. I picked up this amplifier nearly a month ago, withholding my initial opinions, and have been playing it on a mostly daily basis since. Let's start with the price for some perspective... I have multiple guitar pedals that cost 2-3x the prices of this entire amplifier, none of which have proven to be as fulfilling as this little amp. I was in the market for a desktop amplifier, like a THR or Spark or something of the like when I came across the White Hornet. While I'm not normally one to buy what is seemingly (looking at the price) a bottom of the barrel guitar product, I liked what I was seeing and couldn't really see any downside, again given the low price.What I've since discovered is certainly the most "valuable" piece of guitar kit that I own. This little amp is perfect for laid back jamming in a bed room or in the living room. The volume level is perfect. The modeling selections mostly sound great and there are a ton of options! It connects to your phone via Bluetooth to jam alongside backing tracks or whatever tickles your fancy.No, this is not the same as playing through my Twin Reverb, 5150, or Marshall DSL, and if you want window-vibrating volume you wouldn't be looking at a 15-watt solid state amplifier. What this is, is a perfect desktop amplifier that not only sounds great, is incredibly versatile, but your wife might not even mind it sitting beside the couch in the living room, because it is one cool looking little amp!I find myself spending far more time playing on the White Hornet at home due to its sheer practicality. I'd highly recommend keeping one of these on hand, whether you are a beginner, closet musician, or an experienced professional playing gigs every night. It is really a tool that everyone can afford and it fills a role in everyone's kit.

The various digital amp settings are great for finding the tones you like. Built in effects work great and are customizable enough. Awesome price for what it offers.4 stars because1. Need a 3.5mm to 7mm adapter if you want to route it into most DACs- can't use a standard instrument cable.2. The speaker it comes with is not the greatest- it sounds much better just plugging my studio monitors into the headphone output. However it *does* sound really great in the line out so potentially not a problem for a recording artist.Minor quibble but doesn't really matter: the EQ knobs are reversed from the order I'm used to- treble, mid, bass instead of bass, mid, treble.

Size 7 foot for reference….. anyways I love this amp! The various tones are so fun to play with. I wish the speaker material was thicker but it seems pretty flimsy where as another amp I got for $50 used at a guitar store hard metal and the whole thing is just more durable than this one, but this one has all the fun sounds and it’s cute! So it’s a 5/5 for me

I really like this amp…I was looking around for a small, inexpensive practice amp to set up in the living room, for when I felt like playing some soft jazz guitar. I browsed through all the Flammas and Donners and who knows what else… finally happened upon the listings for this thing… Mooer, some company I had never heard of, and discovered that they have designed some really interesting stuff…I was able to find some very detailed demo/review videos on YouTube, and they pretty much sold me on this amp. Since I was looking for basically a clean sound with some reverb/ambiance, either the Hornet White or Black would have been just fine. But this one happened to be on sale for some reason. The first switch position is supposed to be a clean Fender Twin; it seems to sound very good. All the other amp models appear to be quite good; the various Marshalls and Boogies, etc, let you find just the right screaming sound.The built in effects are a nice little bonus; my only complaint would be that it’s a bit hard to find the right combination of delay effect level and feedback or reverb level & time; those functions seem to be combined into one knob for each of the reverb and delay effects. But it’s hard to complain about an amp that has this much flexibility and great tone for $100… I especially like being able to save all the knob positions, including the effects, into a preset for each of the amp models; great feature…If you’re considering the Mooer Hornet and can’t decide on the black, white, or any of the other colors, search YouTube for Mooer Hornet; there are videos that will pretty clearly show the differences; they are NOT just different colors; each of the amps has a slightly different set of amp models and effects.Even at the regular $118 price, these are great little amps; very happy with this purchase.

Power is getting to the device, no sound, the cab designations didn’t work just loud background noise. 30 day warranty expired, No repair options.However the supplier was true to their wood about backing their product and eventually refunded me.
