I bought a few different sizes of this product and I am happy with all of them. It makes it easy to get a way from using plastic! I would prefer that the Mini's had the stainless steel bottom on the cap like the larger sizes. However they work fine and I like the size for a number of things. The Mini's did arrive with a broken jar but it was replaced immediately.

The newer versions are not made to a very tight tolerance, some lids seal tight others don't.

Despite previous reviews about the glass coming broken, I can say that whomever wrapped these containers up did so with CARE! It took me about 5 minutes to get all of the bubble wrap and tape off! I was impressed. I use the containers to hold treats that I give to my dog and they're as fresh as they come when I open the package every time! I'm extremely happy with these and I do plan on buying more in the bigger sizes.

bought these to replace your typical glass jar with the plastic seal and these did not get the job done, will be going back to the basics.The feature to "EVAK" the air in the jar (pictures attached) basically captures/traps the scent of whatever you're storing and leaves that odor in the cap/empty space/drawer/cabinet you store it in. disappointed.as far as freshness, i did not use these long enough to tell, the leak of to odor caused me to stop using them after 2-3 days.

I received this package the glass was completely broken for one of the containers

Thick, solid glass container. Solid plastic cap with good seal and easy operation. MICRO size may be better labeling. Barely holds 2 oz of whole coffee beans.

Good airtight seal love them.

I ordered these to store truffle salt as the odor is strong. the original product containers do a much better job of suppressing the odor these 'airtight' containers are only marginally better than having the truffle salt in a small open air bowl- I tried that as it is more convenient for use.the main problem with these containers is that the lid is loose(this is probably a safety feature due to the glass container) thus preventing any true seal.

Great product. Really tight and perfect to keep stuff like coffee and spices from drying out.
