Product works great and is competitively priced when compared to other vacuum pumps of the same size. the Bluetooth connectivity feature for the phone app comes in handy as well.

I've used small single and 2-stage vacuum pumps for years to pull down vacuum bags for composite parts, and it was time for yet another vacuum pump. I was ready to pay more for a more serious pump, when I came across this gem. The pump's performance specs seemed perfect, and the added digital readout and bluetooth app seemed very useful.I've used the pump about 30 times, mostly to evacuate air from a 2 gallon outgassing chamber, and for a couple of vacuum bagging projects. The pump performs extremely well, pulling down vacuum faster and deeper than my other small pumps. The fittings on the pump were the same as my other pumps. The build quality of the pump seems better than most.What amazes me is the LCD display actually shows the pressure at the vacuum inlet, and it can also graph the pressure change over time. It also shows both the pump and the oil temperatures, and sounds an alarm (?) if they reach a preset maximum. It has many other features that I haven't even used yet. The bluetooth apps works great, and I can view and adjust the vacuum set points remotely, and probably do a lot more. Because of the robust display and information on the touchscreen, I will have trouble going back to using "dumb" vacuum pumps.

In my first few minutes using this pump, two show-stopping bugs came up:First, the pump tries to be "smart" and reduce power and wear by shutting off when vacuum is attained. It will pump down to pre-set threshold, close a gate valve, and shut off. The issue is, if your system leaks or offgasses at all, the vacuum will start creeping back up when this happens. There's no way to set the threshold to 0 pressure to get the pump to run continuously. Additionally, you can set a dwell time between 0 and 200min, but that means even if you're ok with some fluctuations in vacuum pressure at the low end, the pump won't ever hold vacuum for more than 200min.Second, at some point the pump randomly rebooted on me and started back up in Chinese, and any attempt to change back to English crashes the software. Even using the companion app, the app will crash as soon as the pump is turned on now.Save your trouble and buy a more professional pump and separate vacuum gauge.

The micron gauge doesn’t work, and there isn’t an option to turn off leak detection. Takes forever to pull down to 500 microns with the auto leak detect feature. I really tried to like it and I dont. Wish I could return it

I bought this pump and this works great! It gets to 400 microns really quick.2 ton ac system get it done in less then 5 minutes.Highly recommend it. Great!

This looked like it would be great pump and had some cool features. But the pump does not reach the stated CFM we purchased the 7 CFM version and the max we could get was 5 CFM out of it at best. Also, the screen makes it look like you have a lot of control over what’s going on… it’s just a glorified gauge that gives you stats. And the pressure gauge doesn’t even work all the time. We had read a lot of mixture reviews on this before we purchased, but I thought ours would be fine and It would work… But I should’ve listened to the one star reviews as mine ended up the same. Do t spend you money on this pump. There are much better versions out there at lower cam that work better!We returned ours the next day.

Big solid beast, but easy to move around thanks to the carry handle. This thing was ready to go right out of the box - I was expecting to have to wire a plug on it and buy some oil, but everything is included, all you need to do is fill it with oil and plug it in to test. The touchscreen is big and bright, I found it to be pretty responsive (a little bit laggy, but not too bad) and easy to read. Everything worked out of the box, I am going to be using this for casting resins and stabilizing wood, I may update this review after I have used it for that application.

Received a BROKEN USED and REPACKAGED vacuum pump. If that isn’t bad enough it was repackaged upside down! Oil everywhere. I’m SHOCKED this could happen. BUYER BEWARE!

In the Q&A about this item the seller stated that it would work with a Harvestright Freeze Dryer. It wont. A useless item to me.

The "Elitech SVP-7 Vacuum Pump 7 CFM 2 Stage Intelligent HVAC Refrigerant Recharging, Touch Screen, Data Logging and Storage via App" has worked well enough for the couple of test runs we've done. It has some great features, like the touch screen. We haven't been able to test it thoroughly enough yet to say whether or not it will last, but so far is it creating a vacuum fairly quickly and is easy enough to use for beginners. This review will be updated as needed.
