disappointed
The details are not painted very well, after a week of use, the paint began to wear off at the point of contact with the pins. Geometric figures are not made of wood, they are made from pressed chipboard. The base of the game (at the bottom) contains small roughness and can plant a splinter to a child hand. Extremely disappointed with the quality.

Exactly what I was hoping for
My son is 15months, he immediately was interested and tried to figure this toy out. We’ve only had it for less than a day but he’s played with it several times. This is will definitely keep him busy and help with dexterity.I was worried because some of the reviews spoke about choking hazard because the pieces are small. The pieces are small, but they are large enough that I don’t see how any baby could swallow them. There is some small marking on some of the pegs but I don’t care. Received all the colors. I would recommend for any toddle that’s steadily toddling lol, but not for wobblers that aren’t walking because of the pegs. If paint chips or pegs come loose I will update post, but I’m really happy with the quality of this product.

Son loves it
He's really into stacking and sorting after 12months. And this toy becomes his favorite at about 14 months. He plays it all the time everyday. One thing I'm a bit concerned, when all the pieces are taken out, the wood shelf might be harmful if he accidentally falls on it. So I constantly move it out of his way when he stands up and walks.

Great developmental toy!
I got this toy set for a family member‘s baby‘s first birthday. They were looking for something that would be good for her development, so I got this for them. Obviously I did open it before I gifted it, and I was very pleased with the quality of the toy. I asked them how it was holding up after lots of play, and they let me know that it is durable and sturdy. I would definitely gift this again for someone looking for a developmental toy for a baby. It is colorful so that appeals to them.

Preschooler loves it!
This is a well made wooden toy that has 5 different shapes. Each shape has one hole (peg) that corresponds to the number of sides of that shape. I bought it for my 3 year old granddaughter and she learned the name of each shape and can count the holes. She likes to dump them all off and scramble them up to see how fast she can put it back together. Even her 6 year old brother likes to do that. Fun little toy, it's quiet and doesn't take up much room so you can't ask for more than that.
