Made a believer out of me!
[I paid full price for this product - this review is unbiased and from the same perspective as most consumers]I never buy these things. I think they're often trendy, a waste of money and an accessory to prove to others we are conscious of health as we sip from the varying beverage troughs. While I'm very conscious of my individual responsibility for my health and the earth, I refuse participate in the mental jockeying and comparison of others based on what I / those who agree with me consider important. I prefer to let my actions speak for me, not my containers. I resisted buying one for years until I saw this style from a company I trust and for this incredible price.I am not a brand-loyal person. I'm loyal to companies that consistently have great customer service, quality products and pricing that reflects what I purchase, not what the trend demands, even if it means I pay a bit more, purchase less often and, oh yeah, means I'm not part of the "in" or "woke" crowd.Quite by accident, I have two Contigo commuter mugs; one of their first series and a smaller one that actually fits into car cup holders instead of trucks. I use one for coffee, one for tea. I've never had any commuter cup keep things hotter for longer, and by a long shot. I've found warm tea water after leaving the unopened mug on a counter more than 24 hours. I am so impressed with their products, I actually wrote the company. What I really like about this particular water bottle include:1. It's stainless steel with a silicone-covered mouthpiece. I can easily sanitize the bottle and the mouthpiece when needed.2. Cold water STAYS COLD for a lonnnnnnnnnng time. I so appreciate this in the summer, especially on long road trips and under-cooled conference rooms when meetings go way too long.3. The generous width of the carabiner clip that also serves as a handle. I can grab it and go or clip it on most anything if my hands aren't free.4. It's 20 oz / appx. 600 ml, which is just over 3 oz (nearly 1/2 cup) / 90 ml more volume than most individually-sized, US water bottles.5. The ergonomic shape is suitable for most hand sizes, not feeling too overwhelming or too frail. (Giants, The Hound, The Mountain and small woodland faeries may disagree).6. The straw pops up for ease of access and easily locks into place to prevent leaks while being stored - regardless of it's orientation - in a bag / backpack.7. It's truly 20 oz of functionality. The straw is efficient and gets virtually ever drop of water out of the bottle.8. I am such a believer, I'm purchasing more for myself, husband, family and friends and was prompted to write the company raving about how happy I am with the purchase.

Best money I have spent in months....
How hard can it be to get an insulated bottle that works like it should? Apparently not so easy as I went through several before finding this one - and it is the best money I have spent in months! This is THE ONE that I would gladly buy if it was twice the price - and that's from a stingy old man! A handful of ice cubes lasts all day or night - there is still ice in this bottle after going around with me all day. The spout pops up and works perfectly without that "gurgling" and air bubbles from another major brand. The straw unscrews for cleaning to avoid that plug of nasty black crappo that built up on my all plastic model - and trying to clean out that shocking plug of offal was what broke the plastic one (thank goodness or I would not have gotten this upgrade). "No sweat" takes on new meaning as I don't know how it works, but the outside of this bottle feels cool/cold to the touch but I have yet to see it sweat under the same conditions that the plastic model was pouring so badly I had to put it on some paper towels at night just to catch the runoff. Nice texture as this is not a slippery little devil - it has a nice grip to it and as mentioned is never never wet or sweating, so easy on the hands. Extra little feature is the clip-on hook, which hangs from a backpack or bookbag easy peasy. Also this plogs right down into my car's cup holder and that finishes the total utility of this bottle. By the bed, on the backpack, in the car - there is no where this won't go and it looks nice to boot. Seldom do I find a "perfect" product, but this one comes darn close!

Best water bottle ever
I had to add a review for this water bottle. I have traveled around the world with this bottle. It has been dropped many times, knocked against walls and rolled around. It still works wonderfully even given the fact that the bottom is slightly dented so it jitters a bit when standing up (dropped out of airplane overhead to plane floor).I love the fact that I can quickly clip it on my back pack and take off. No need to have it fit in a "water bottle pocket". It's super easy to empty and fill. And I love to pop-top/lock-top.Some users complained about cleaning it but I found running a q-tip in the top cleans it great. Take the straw off and run the q-tip in from the drink side, then from straw side and it get pristine clean. I have shoved them all the way though from drink side to straw side, but they barely fit to pull out.I have used this for cold, hot and tepid drinks. It keeps the cold, cold for a good long time and the hot, hot/warm for a good time.If you travel a lot and/or go though air ports a lot I highly recommend this.My only complaint is it only fits in big cup holders in car, but I seldom use it in a car. Also, sometimes you have to fuss with the top to get it to screw on correctly. Once it's on correct it NEVER leaks.
