Beautiful red cookware
This pot is gorgeous and makes the simplest food look amazing. I’ve used it for cassoulet and for a huge bread pudding, and I love that this pot can be used on the stove top as well as in the oven.

One of the Best Pots for the Money.
This pot is one of the best pots I have ever owned. Unfortunately for me, while heating the pot in my oven at 450 degree in preparation for some bread baking, as I lifted the hot lid, I dropped it onto the pot. I could not believe my eyes, my favorite and most adored pot was no more. What was I to do? I wrote a letter to Emile Henri, explained my situation and they sent me a new pot. With this kind of customer service how can one not buy this pot. It cooks great, bread or stews while at the same time looking great! Do not hesitate.

Emile Henry Dutch Oven
I am happy with my Emile Henry 2.6 quart dutch oven that I use for bread making. The color is really pretty (more red than burgundy) and the lid gives a tight closure allowing for steam buildup producing a perfect bread boule. I have had no issues with cleaning. If I get a spot on the exterior, I use a baking soda paste and it's gone. It is a bit on the pricey side, but, I do love it (just be careful, it is breakable).
