Now that I’ve flown twice with this carrier, I feel I can write an honest review. First be aware I flew Delta and the planes were MD88 & MD90 in the main cabin.Overall this is a great carrier. I packed a 17lb Bichon and a 14lb Maltese and they were pretty comfortable. The wheels help a lot, the telescoping handle is ergonomic, it is well ventilated and easy to maneuver. I didn’t use the shoulder strap, because for me it was more comfortable to use the handle to travel with. Pros and cons below and why it fell short of 5 stars.Pros: * fits 2 small dogs comfortably.* Fits under the seat pretty well (let’s be honest these airlines seem to shrinking leg room anyway and I don’t think this sticks out any more than my handbag). So yeah it fits.* well ventilated.* had one decent pocket where I put their leashes and harnesses.* telescoping handle is ergonomic and very convenient.* handle for the carrier is sturdy to maneuver them.* has an expandability that the dogs can lie side by side comfortably during the flight.* rolling wheels makes it easy to go around the airport.* door is easy to zip and unzip and very easy for the dogs to get in and out of.* cushion provided seems comfortable for them and is Velcro secure inside the carrier.* wheels base unvelcros and attaches with ease to fit under the seat (required to remove to go under the seat)* overall very lightweight.Cons: * with 2 dogs pulling on the telescoping handle, if they lean outside of the base and shift weight, it topples over easily. So at times just wheeling them from the attached handle with a better center of gravity worked better, especially if you’re in a hurry.* only 2 wheels rotate. Doesn’t really maneuver as easy as a 4 wheeled suitcase. I think the wheels can be improved upon and if the carrier is so collapsible then the wheel base can afford to be wider to increase support and maneuverability.* has 4 small pockets on the sides that seem fairly useless. Fits a small toy, treat, or a poop bag roll. That’s about it.* only comes in black. More colors would be rad.* telescoping handle is a bit tricky to get out and put back in. You have to find the “right” angle.Overall, the price for the quality is definitely say it’s 5 stars there. I have other carriers that are better constructed, more expensive, but less flexible and difficult to maneuver. These guys did a good job. If this rolled easily like a 4 wheeled suitcase and cane in cool colors it would definitely get 5 stars. I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone. With both my pups and the carrier it weighed at 41lbs and I had little trouble handling it even with the cons list. Otherwise compared to others I’d say this is a great deal. I’d say a 35lb could easily fit. Nothing more than 26in long though. May be able to push it but then might have trouble fitting under the seat.I waited to write the review after I had used several times. The airlines will give you a hard time because it does look big. But I think the pictures show it does fit under the seat just fine without the wheels attached. And I also used the shoulder strap to roll it from the center so it doesn’t tip as much.

PRO: Absolutely the best bag I own! I am a flight nanny and it’s my go to bag for most of the pups I transport. My adult Frenchie (25lbs and 16 in long) fits in here great too! She loves it. I am also a flight attendant and can tell you that it is airline approved and even though it looks large, once it’s removed from the wheel base it fits in even the smallest under seat space with ease (example aircraft CRJ 200). I’ve recommended this bag to so many people. I love it.CON: It can be a little top heavy if your dog is not familiar with pull type carriers but even with those types of pups, they’ve learned quickly to lay down while it’s moving so it’s never been a problem. The handle is the perfect length but the angle makes the bag sit out from you. Not a huge deal but beware in crowded airports of people not paying attention and tripping over your carrier. Make sure you lower and stow the handle in the jet bridge as it can be difficult to manage in the aircraft aisle.
