H Potter Garden Trellis for Climbing Plants Wrought Iron Large Ornamental Outdoor Wall Art

We just put this up in our side yard and just love it. It was fairly easy for 2 almost 70's to assemble and install and looks very elegant, plus it seems very sturdy and promising to hold up in the Colorado summer heat and winter cold. We are using it to screen our walk way to the back yard from a beautiful but giant, quick growing Ninebark that keeps overhanging the walk way - lovely alternative to having to take the shrub out. This is the second time we have purchased this trellis. Excellent product - high quality and great looks. Being wrought iron, the pieces are heavy but the whole thing is quite easy to install even by one person. The installed unit feels solidly anchored and has shown no movement even after a couple of years of exposure to the weather. One of the plus points is that one unit can be attached to another with supplied clips to create the right shape in the yard. Based on past experience and the look of the recently installed one, this is highly recommended.

It is solid quality and even more handsome than the photo suggests! I was so impressed I bought six more of them.; you can tie them together with pins; included to make a larger fence, more elegant than anything available unless you get it custom made by a black smith....--- this design works.Take care when assembling, you will need a ratchet set and and pliers and a second person to tighten the nuts and bolts---and the best part, now after having assembled them, all the pre drilled holes fit!! Attention: there is only one way the bottom panel with the stakes fit...if it does not line up with the drilling holes, turn it over and it fits perfectly. The quality and craftsmanship on these wrought iron trellises and fences are so good that one only wished they also had a beautiful, solid yet esthetically pleasing design for a tall arbor and garden gates... ( hint, hint ;-) )

We got new landscaping in our front yard. I chose this trellis for the climbing hydrangea because it seemed sturdy and had the perfect powder finish to stand up to the weather. It was even better than I imagined and the landscaper,, too, was impressed with the high quality.It was simple to understand how to put it together. I'm glad my husband helped secure the bolts for a really tight fit. It looks great as a focal point against the house supporting our plant. So glad I chose it.

The design is esthetic, clever and practical. There is space between the metalwork design to reach my hand through to weave the clematis or other climbing vines. I ordered 6 for my garden. On 2, the bolt holes did not line up, and needed to have the holes re-drilled to re-align / enlarge them. The bottom piece is the width of the trellis and has an iron stake 18" long that is "planted" in the soil. I got two 1/2" x 8' (or maybe it was 3/4") PVC pipes, cut them into 20" sections, added a cap, then sunk it in the ground and slid the trellis into the pipes. This way when I need to paint the wall they are close to, or move them, I can simply slide out the trellis. Whenever I have moved the cedar ones, they were rotted and often broke.

While this product is more expensive than what is generally available at Home Depot, it is certainly a level above in quality. It is well made and looks great. We are very happy with the purchase and it will hopefully last a long time.

I couldn't be more pleased with my H Potter trellis. I had a friend assemble it, and he almost always finds something about a product unsatisfactory. He had nothing but praise. He assembled it solo, and he is a big guy, but it took him not even 10 minutes. I will be training climbing roses on my trellis, and am about to order two more for other climbers. There are so many things that are poorly made or impossible to assemble. Absolutely the opposite with my wonderful trellis. Thank you, H Potter!
