Are You My Monster?

Super cute book! This is a great book for kids afraid of monsters under their bed because it shows monsters as adorable creatures. The boy in the story can't sleep until he finds his monster and he eventually finds it under his bed which I think is a great touch to squelch fears of monsters under the bed. After the boy finds his monster, then he is ready to go to bed snuggling his monster! Highly recommend.

My Children really like the book and it will be added to our nightly readings. However on one of the pages has a mistake that my children quickly caught and asked questions about (Attached). It says the monster is pink when he is really red and the page is pink. Its kind of funny that a book about paying attention to detail would make this kind of mistake... The humor part of this aside if it was not for this one glaring inconsistency I would have rated this book higher.

I bought this book for my grandkids, and even the 9 year old loved it and read it aloud to his younger siblings after I read it to him. The vocabulary is somewhat advanced, which I loved, and the illustrations are beautiful and very creative. The grandkids asked for a re-reading. Can’t beat that!

book was used but in excellent condition. no rips, tears, wrinkles or smudges on any pages. could barely tell that it was used. only draw back was the long shipping. happy with purchase

My 4 year old daughter really enjoyed I Need My Monster and Hey, That's My Monster but this was not even a story. Maybe I didn't read the synopsis very well but we expected a story. This is written for a smaller child who likes repitition. Read it once and will probably never read again.
