They only give you one tool to tighten them with and it quickly bends out of shape. You have to keep rebending it.

Installation is a slow process once you are used to using a power tool for everything, but the end result looks nice. The material is soft so it can be crimped, this can cause them to easily bend if you are using a hydraulic hand crimper, outside of that, they do really well and look nice.

These cable railing lags work great and are most affordable way to install straight-run wire cable railing. Just be sure you have the right cable diameter, the right crimping die, and have a good quality cable cutting tool to cut the cable cleanly in order to prevent fraying. Having two people available to install the cable is helpful.

I used these fittings on a new deck I built and they work like a charm. I used the Lulultn crimper (also from Amazon) and was well-pleased with how easy it was to install the cable rails using the system. The finished product looks very ‘clean’ and professional and I have already had a number of compliments on the project

I was able to install myself but it would have been done in a fraction of the time with two people. All in all, great product!
