Ill Fitting
I have used a variety of orthotics over the course of time in dealing with my bunions and foot issues from being a high level athlete and dancer. This one unfortunately failed me - it was too big for my foot (I am a 5'7" female and it should have fit), and whether it was the size or not, it was incredibly uncomfortable and did not offer any corrective support. Not a big fan of returning things, I actually did return this item. For the seller's benefit, I did receive a full refund, so thank you for that.

Not as great as I had hoped
I have used other stationary type braces and they work great. I thought this one would be nice since I could bend my toe. The problem is that the brace bends the toe in slightly anyway so it really does not do as much as I would like it to. I think it is made for people who have a giant hump on their bunion maybe. Mine is not so bad because I have always worn a brace and massaged it to try to keep the huge hump from forming. I am not sure if that is the issue but when you look at the brace there is a larger curve out for the bunion than on a normal foot. For me it braces it a little bit but I have to put padding in the bunion bump area for it to provide any bracing. The other thing I did not like is that the velcro strap for the toe is so long you could put two toes in there. There is so much overlap that is in the way.The last thing has to do with how it holds your toe when you bend the toe joint. While it keeps it reasonable straight while the toe is straight when you bend the toe like in the position your foot would be in if you were wearing heals, the toe in that position does not spread out like on your normal foot but tends to bend in in the bent position. This sort of gives the brace a weakness in that might end up pulling your toe straight up to relive the pressure.whoops one more thing. The brace tends to shift on the foot and if you do not keep it in perfect position it does not work wellI love the idea of a hindged brace but this one is not supportive enough to really do much of anything.

Great concept, but it really is too flimsy to help
The plastic hinged support is a good idea, but the plastic is too flexible so it really doesn't help with correction. Lasted 3 months and broke. Can't really recommend this.

Helps so much!
this item is well worth the money. it is very comfortable to sleep in and takes the pain and discomfort away immediately. i love it. i don't wear it all day and it could not fit into shoes - maybe slippers. i wanted something to wear at night and this does the job perfectly. other braces feel like you have a brace on and would snag in my blanket and wake me up at night. this is perfect, feels like i am wearing a sock and is very comfortable to sleep in.

Disappointed in the results.
I've worn this for the last month and my bunion may be worse! Yoga Toes and exercising my metatarsal arch seems to work better. I am so disappointed. I really hoped this might move me forward.

Works well and gives me comfort at night.
If you need support at night and in the house then buy it. you can not wear it in shoes but it wasnt the intention.
