Very large sturdy basket. It's now installed on a DIY 26" Fat Tire chopper style ebike with a DIY L ion battery pack which is in the basket. Battery weighs close to 40Lbs. Riding at 25MPH it handled the load on semi bumpy pavement and about 15MPH on trails. Basket works great. I'll be back with photo update soon.

Overall like it however instructions were not clear at all..

I was very confused when I received my order as it only had the bracket and mounting Hardware, no basket. Turned out that the basket, due to the larger size, had to be shipped separately. Not an issue with the two packages but I received only one tracking number, not two. The customer service helped figure it out quickly and the basket arrived the next day. Order with confidence that your getting a great product, just expect to get order in two boxes. The basket is very sturdy and can hold at least 25 pounds easily.

Really like the size of the basket but it could be a little lighter. Maybe some different material for the Weave of the basket...strong but light. Needed a basket for my ChixCorgi, Archie, who cannot always keep up with us and our Blue Lacy, Oona, on our adventures. He is about 9-10lbs and still growing some. Wanted him to be able to stretch and lay within the basket out of the wind since it is mounted on the front of my bicycle. I read the reviews about its weight and you can not be careless with setting it after dismount. It WILL topple your bike! But it was the right size and I felt I could deal with a heavy basket compared to a dog who was exhausted from sitting up for long periods of time.It is sturdy and well constructed. The paint job on it is holding up so far. It was tricky to attach on my bicycle..it took us about an hour to figure it out but it is working like I expected...lined it with a covered foam pads on the bottom and three sides. Left the side facing the seat free for the dog to see me, with a clear plastic cover for the winter. I also affixed a elevated canopy made with a silk kite, wooden dowels and Rose colored duck tape (yes I know but it works great!) for the summer so he would not roast while riding and it works in the winter to keep off the snow if it starts while we are out.Here is the down side to this particular Basket...it is HEAVY. IF you have trouble keeping your bike up and getting off with ease... this is not the basket for you! It adds weight to the bike while riding and pedaling by about 6 to 7 lbs of drag. Add the dog in the basket and the dog attached to a side it can be a serious work out!! IT only comes in black and chrome...bummer. You WILL need tools to put it together.Other than those few downs most of it has been positive and is working for me...

I bought this for my husband's bike so he can put our 2 Yorkies in it for bike rides. Of course he will put down something comfortable to cover the bottom and sides. This is a very sturdy basket, very well made.

this thing is awesome. its so big. i did have to make some modifications so that I fit my bike on the axle. I can carry 4 bags of groceries with this thing. just be warned that steering is very different with all that weight in the front

This is perfect for my little dog. It’s super sturdy and could handle dogs 25lbs but the sides of the basket would be short to keep a larger dog secure.

My bike is a working bike. I ride 16 miles a day and I shop and provide meals for my church. This product has my life easier. i always get compliments about my bike because of the WALD Baskets and I brag about this product all the time.
