Schwarzkopf - Igora Royal Permanent Hair Color 6-00 Dark Blonde Forte 2.1 oz.

With the Covid-19 virus shutting down all beauty shops, I was becoming very frustrated with about 1 inch of gray roots! With fear and trembling I researched all the various color products, learned about how to select the best color and then watched u-tubes of how it was done. I ordered the products I would need and then waited about a week to work up the nerve to try it. This morning my daughter did my roots and we both agree my hair looks the best in terms of color that it has ever looked. I left it on for 20 minutes, then pulled the product down with a wide toothed comb for the last 10 minutes. It turned out so natural looking! YEAH!

So even with reading the reviews, I went down a shade and went with dark blonde in hopes of a light golden brown (my natural color is a bit darker than that, but with grays and summer lightening, I wanted a bit lighter...) This turned out to be a ASH BROWN!?? So while it is not a horrible color - it is not even close to what I assumed a dark blonde would look. No idea about fade as it has only been a few days, but regardless, I would not purchase this again.

This is what my professional stylist told me to use for my roots when COVID struck and salons shut down.. she gave me her 'recipe' and so no more need to spend $120 for a root touch up or color... This is very reasonably priced and leaves hair shiny.. Coverage of gray is OK if you are not all gray.. not sure how long it would perform with all gray.. I just have roots for now... Seems to fade in about 3-4 weeks... Not great, but about average to others I've used out there.

Best color ever. I’ve been doing my roots myself for a while and all other brands made my brown hair orange. This color is always consistent and perfect for my brown hair. 6-0 or 6-00 are just perfect.

It was much darker than usual. Arabic writing on this one. I’m nervous to buy again.
