Very useful
It works on my 3T external drive. It also comes with several different size plug in adaptors! GREAT bargain, good quality so far. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

Bought it to replace a power supply for a Seagate external hard drive. The model numbers were listed right in the product page, so it was easy to identify as a replacement.It’s a perfect replacement. It even came with a few adapters in case the DC plug didn’t fit, but I didn’t need them. Good price. Good quality.

Exactly what I needed for for my external hard drive
I have a 5 year old Seagate external hard drive that was failing to mount to my MacBook. After swapping out USB cables and power supplies, I concluded I had a bad AC adapter. This replacement fulfills my needs splendidly and affordably. I am knocking one star on this review because one of the three included tips was badly molded (see photo) and I would assume possibly dangerous. I didn't need that specific tip for my application, so I will toss it out.

Seagate Expansion 5TB USB 3.0 (STEB5000100) Replacement Power Cord
I needed to replace the power cord to my external hard drive after a power surge ruined it. This product works perfectly right out of the box. Just make sure your external hard drive is listed on the compatibility list - mine was (STEB5000100)
