Pilestone Tp-012 colour blind corrective glasses for red-green blindness (colour blind glasses)

These glasses work really well and everything felt so different when I wore them, and my wallpaper, which I thought was purple, was actually pink.Only issue is that it broke a little 9ver a week of me getting it, but that was because a relative of mine stepped on it

Where do I even begin? First, I want to make it clear that I shop Amazon for everything and I was not paid anything, given any discount, or and free product for this review. This review is 100% true and heartfelt. I bought these for my husband for his 49th birthday. He is red/green deficient. We had a surprise family dinner because everyone wanted to be there to see him put them on for the first time. I was so nervous and scared that they wouldn’t work.I recorded him opening them and his emotions were palpable. This is the first time he’s ever seen colors the way they were meant to be seen. He said “I can’t wait to see my first rainbow”. We were all in tears as he took in the world around him. His mother brought the balloons so he could see the bright colors.I drove us home and he was amazed at signs for different businesses that he passes every single day, but never truly saw. We got home and as I pulled in to the garage his eyes filled with tears again. He said “everything is so much brighter!”. He got out of the car and looked at his USMC bootcamp pictures on the wall and became so emotional.It was time to walk into the house and he said “I can’t wait to see the dogs!” So we open the door. He yells “CARL!!! Omg! You have so much more color then I thought you did!” And the emotions took over again.I know these are not guaranteed to work for everyone, but I promise you it is worth a try. Thank you Pilestone for bringing all the colors to my husbands world!

I bought these for my red/green, moderately colorblind son. He is 11 and and had very high hopes so I really didn't want him to be disappointed! His reaction was incredibly genuine and emotional...we were all moved. He has had them for 4 days and wears them all day in school as well as outside! He first got them outside and was immediately gushing over the greens saying how beautiful our world is and how he has missed out. Then as we drove to dinner, he pointed out all the red signs everywhere he always thought were brown! Then at the restaurant, a man at a table across from us said "I have those glasses!" He was probably in his 50's and he and my son continued to talk about all the new colors they saw. He said he was probably going to buy more to have one at work as well. It was a huge coincidence to be sitting next to him and that he recognized them (but of course, my son couldn't talk about everything he was seeing!!). The next evening we had a thunderstorm so I took Matthew outside in hopes of seeing a rainbow. He always thought rainbows were just shades of blue. I have included a photo of him looking at the rainbow. I understand from reviews that these aren't equally effective for everyone, but at this price, one would be wrong not to try them. Some colors Matthew was not spot on with, but when he would ask me what color is this? I would say, I'm not telling you, you tell me. Then he would say brown, or dark green without the glasses, and red with them. We did not feed him the answers so I know these do help and work with much color detection.

Bought these as a birthday present for my husband. He likes them, and, taking a color-blindness test, they dropped him from extreme deutan without glasses to mild deutan with them (he was medium deutan when he wore my polarized sunglasses by accident). I do think it's worth noting that they came with a note offering $20 for good reviews, which feels a little dishonest and makes me skeptical of the high number of reviews that make them sound miraculous. To be fair, they might work better for someone who was not so strongly deutan, but there's a chance some of the reviews are exaggerated in exchange for $20. Overall, worth a shot if you're red-green colorblind and want things to look more crisp and distinct and see a slightly improved range. Nobody cried or anything.

I am red-green color blind, Everything turns red, I see no help at all , Things look better with out the glasses. The blue sky turns reddish blue. I am sending them back to Amazon. Sorry I do not like to send things back. The picture is the paper that comes with the Glasses, So that tells you something.

I don't write reviews very often, but I just had to write one for these glasses. I bought these for my 31 year old son, who is color blind to red and green. All I can say to Pilestone is THANK YOU!! I wish I had videotaped my son putting them on for the first time; it brought me to tears to see the expression on his face and to watch him walk (almost running) around in astonishment at the vibrance and colors he was seeing. It was as if he was seeing the home he grew up in for the very first time, and couldn't get to everything fast enough to see it in color. Like a blind man that had been healed.When he looked at the flowers I had planted in the garden, he said, "I always thought these were purple flowers, and now I see they are as red as a fire truck." And when he saw my mud boots on the porch, he said, "Mom, your boots are SO red," and he laughed. For a patriotic man, who we always said "bleeds red-white-and-blue," and whose color blindness kept him out of what he really wanted to do in the Marines, I watched him as he stood for a very long time looking at the American Flag in awe and with tears.When he went home, he showed his wife. She texted me awhile later and said, "Now he finally sees I really did paint the walls a barn red color and not pink, like we argued about all these years."I always prayed that someday he would be able to see how vibrant and beautiful this world really is. The smile on his face when wearing these glasses on is priceless. These glasses were an answer to my prayers. Thank you so much for a wonderful product!
