Lore

Excelente!
De longe, uma das melhores fantasias que eu já li. Uma mistura de Percy Jackson e Jogos Vorazes, de um jeito original e muito bem escrito. Será lançado no Brasil em breve.

best mythology fiction in a long time
This book was incredible, and as much as people are saying it's a cross/like Hunger Games, it's so original - it's a proper jam and I loved it throughout. There was a reason Lore was the only POV and that's because she is a badass character. She's got soul, strength and depth, and I love her. I wanna know where she's gonna go next and I want a line of books about her!The side characters were brilliant, no one was lost and everyone had their own part within the story that kept it alive.THE STORY IN ITSELF THOUGH, just damn, Alexandra Bracken just smashed it out the park with the twists and turns she brought in.I would also like to make a special thank you to the hardback artist because I kept looking back at the map, the titbits at the start about the Living and Dead Lines. Even the lil bit at the end about the characters throughout the story I really enjoyed.Overall, this is a killer of a novel, and y'all gotta read it.

Very fun and thrilling read
I had very high expectations for this book. like really high. it’s been one of my most anticipated reads for a good while and it brings me so much joy to say that my expectations were met. The book surrounds a game called the agon, which was an idea zeus created to punish the gods, who for seven days, every seven years, become mortal and are hunted down for their godly powers. The agon was a really unique idea with how it was portrayed and the characters were written very well. bracken really stuck true to how devious and sneaky some of the gods could be and i was left shocked at some of the twists that crept up on me. I think one of my main positive points was how much i adored the main character, lore. she was written so brilliantly, she was strong, she fought tooth and nail, and there wasn’t a moment of “damsel in distress.” the only con I have is that the ending felt a bit abrupt but it didn’t bother me much at all, so i’m not letting it affect my review score. I can say with confidence that this will be in my top reads of 2021. I absolutely adored this book, i loved the different takes on mythology and it was overall a really exciting and fulfilling read.

Buy this book you won’t regret it
This is an absolutely fantastic book I could not put it down. Alexandra Bracken’s world building is phenomenal and the characters and their dynamics are incredible. The relationship between Melora and Castor is incredible and I loved the power dynamic between Athena and all of the other characters.
