The pick axes are priced very reasonably, but are so lightweight, I was hoping to get one like the ones I've had in the past. They were much heavier and more effective than these. I can't say I'm pleased with it. It has no weight, which might be good for some, but isn't as effective in digging out big roots, weeds and grasses. Also, it started rusting after a few days of use. I'm returning mine.

The minute I picked this up (after ordering) and held it in my hands, I could feel the quality. Used it for breaking up rock, tree roots, and bricks in building a patio. Worked well. A nice blend of a strong, but lightweight pick. Great purchase!

This is exactly what I wanted and it does the job. One suggestion related to ergonomics is that a slightly angled handle would be more comfortable to use and waste less energy and reduce impact on your joints. Use gloves or you will get blisters from the handle. Store in a shed or garage to avoid rust on the blade.

When my drip irrigation developed a leak this tool was great for revealing the leak without destroying the rest of my garden.

Just the right weight for me.I use it for pulling clumps of Johnson Grass out of heavy clay soil. Lighter tools bend in use.The bright handle makes it easy to find in the dark shed.

There are wear & tear marks all over the “hammer” part. The handle also looks used. It looks like someone returned a rusty hammer to them, and they passed it on to me. Terrible quality.

Removing gravel and dirt between pavers. Perfect size. Great weight and maneuverability.

Fantastic! Until someone came to help us clear our yard I had no idea this tool exists and I’m a lifelong gardener. It’s perfect just get it! Heavy duty - easy to rip up/cultivate even small spaces.
