Ecological Labs AEL20912 Microbe Lift Herbtana Fresh Water Conditioners for Aquarium, 16-Ounce

I have brought fish back from near death with this. I had a koi sword that had a major ich infestation. She was hunch-back, clampy, and had that "waddle" that fish get when they're close to death. I started dosing with this right away, and somehow she survived and is now the fattest, happiest fish in my tank. You can also use this to treat new fish before you put them into your main tank. It is recommended to also use the Artemiss in conjunction with the Herbtana. I have used both, and will continue to buy the Microblift brand.

Works better than the copper infused type. Doesn't color the fake plants and didn't kill my real plants. Instead of attacking the ick, it protects the fish and helps it stop ick from reattaching. Worked on my South American Cichlids, except for my gold Sevrum. They are a timid fish. Probably should have double teamed this med with the Kordon stuff. Both natural so you have to watch what you pare them with as they can be cancelled out by other meds.

Not sure where the 1-star reviews are coming from but if you look at them, none are verified purchases. Something tells me the SeaChem staff has too much time on their hands and trying to sabotage this. It works and works well. 7 days max and ich is gone...every time. Raise tank temp to 82-84 deg, add salt, add microbe lift, remove carbon...and simply does the job. Will buy again if needed.

Perfect for my fish. 30 years ago you could put some goldfish in an overcrowded cramp dirty bowl and the fish survived. Now any little changes or new fish will get the whole tank sick. This item really truly strengthen their immune system and reduces their demise.

This product works - and is safe for all freshwater fish.I have been using Herbtana for years (along with with Artemss). I always have it on hand. I use it in four freshwater aquariums (75 gallon, two 20 gallon and one ten gallon). I also buy it for my son to use with his freshwater fish. It is the best product available for treating parasites (that I have tried). Use it at the first sign and the parasites are gone within three or four days (providing your water conditions are good). Herbtana is 100% safe for your fish - no damaging side effects as with harsh medications. I use both Artemiss and Herbtana as directed when I buy new fish and there is rarely a problem with the fish I buy (even fish that I purchase from two to three hours away and bring home in a bucket with air pump).

This stuff is amazing and a must have if you have an aquarium. They have the best line of products. I wish I’d have taken a pic of my fish. He’s officially a zombie bc this stuff brought him back from the dead.

Works good on sensitive fish

Did a great job and kept my plants alive. I had no loss of fish with this product...it smells strong like maybe clove or something but I will use this whenever I have an ick outbreak In the future...hopefully I won't need to though. It made the tank minimally cloudy by the end of treatment. But nothing stained blue like the harsher chemicals. The only thing you may want to be careful of is tank mates like snails...I had 2 nitrile snails die. Not sure if it was from the treatment or not because I have 2 others that were fine. They didn’t die until after the treatment was done but they were very active just before treatment. May want to remove them if you have some you want to keep. I will in the future.
