Q: It looks cheap. Is it 100% plastic? Does it hold up over time?

It is plastic but it looks like it will hold up. I'm in construction and I use it to take progress photos on my jobs. I keep it in a leather bag in my truck console without any special treatment and it seems to be just fine. The photos taken with the wide angle lens are very distorted at the edges so you may want to make sure you have software to adjust or crop out what you don't want.

Q: Does it come with a shoe mount or do I need to buy one separately?

Yes, the Beastgrip Pro includes a built-in cold shoe mount. We sell additional cold shoe mounts if you would like add more.

Q: What lenses are compatible with beast grip? all i see is "37mm." does this mean i need a macro lens adapter to 37mm filter thread to use any lens?

The Beastgrip Pro is compatible with any 37mm threaded lens. Only some lenses require a macro lens adapter. You can also use threaded lenses as small as 29mm or as large as 52mm with a step up or step down ring.

Q: On the bottom of the beastgrip can I mount it on a tripod?

Yes, the Beastgrip Pro has a standard 1/4"-20 mount on the bottom for tripods, monopods, stabilizers, etc.
