Revell Monogram Lamborghini Diablo VT

This is the third one I've bought (built) over the years. I've always liked this body style. It's an older molding by Monogram, but still builds into a nice car model. I usually de-chrome the engine parts for a more realsitic look (search amazon - Purple Power 4320P - takes chrome right off) . Exotic cars are always a bit more tricky to build, only becuase they cars are unique. Not your typical Ford, Dodge, Chevy. Some people mention an issue with the wheels going on. You can trim the spindles down a bit, and open the hole on the wheel just a tiny bit to make them go on better. Don't force them on (as with any car model). Every model has an issue somewhere, but modeling is all about the building and assembly. This is a great looking model car once finished. (note the body is molded in white, so you will have to paint it).

Overall a good detailed model with some fitment issues. Some of the rear chassis doesn't line up quite right and the rear axle seemed to be a bit too short. I also had some trouble getting the wheels on. The engine bay cover is tight fit to open and close. I did not find these to be major issues, but if you are very serious about every detail this may bother you.

This is one of the worst models I've ever (tried to build) built. Getting the body to fit over the chassis was impossible and I had to clamp it while waiting for the cement to take hold. Bad fit makes for a bad taste in the mouth after all the hours of painting and building.

Great kit, but the chasis and the skeleton don't fit together so I had to sand it down, but otherwise its a great kit, wheels run etc.

This is one awesome little diablo! :)Took me a few hours to paint everything how I like, and put it all together. Everything fit nicely.Good quality kit. A bit off skill is involved. It is fun to work on these though!!! A+ experience!

This model was just as the picture shown on the sight. Put together is a nice little car. This item is worth the price.

Got this for my son as a Christmas gift, he has yet to try it (it's only been a few days) but he is looking forward to attacking it.
