In my 20's in New York City, where a dress code was NO exception,especially if you worked for a top World Beauty Corporation. I always needed a red/coral lipstick that would complement the twoopposing temperatures of fashion colors, besides waking up my face. Revlon had Fire & Ice that I could wear with no hesitancy ofday or night or dress color. This lipstick had a smooth texture withA delivery of moisture besides complete pigment that remained true throughout-- that is quality. I was content to have found this shade, which surprisingly many acquaintances would notice and comment. Knowing how Companies would turn over shades,I bought a few. One day this color took a whole page of advertising in my Glamour magazine which informed the reading public that it was 40 years old due to its positive impact for a fewgenerations and many awards for Revlon! Thus, I was not alone to have known the variety of appeal. All I knew was that my face would light up with this shade for all seasons. NO coincidenceFIRE: for Hot & Ice: for Cool. 50 years have gone by with differentdelivery systems for this shade. The liquid is great since it won't smear and can be drawn with certainty, especially if your lips havetransitioned. Lasting power is crucial, without concerns for a retouch! I am very thankful that in an always changing world thatRevlon recognizes this Immortal shade....

Overall, I find Revlon has the prettiest shade range, especially for this collection.I appreciate that it last most of the day without drying my lips out or making them feel like I'm wearing latex house paint.PROs:- Beautiful shade selection- Extremely comfortable- Precision doe foot applicator (no liner needed)- Very Moisturizing- Longevity (6-8 hours)- Gorgeous satin finish- Leaves behind a beautiful stain after several hoursCONs:- May not last up to 16 hours but I'm fine with that since it's so comfortable- Wish Revlon would convert some of their more famous colors (Cherries in the Snow, Pink in the Afternoon, Toast of NY, etc.) from bullets into this stunning liquid formula- Odd square-shaped packaging, wish it was round and sleeker

I never leave the house without lipstick and I'm always looking for something that lasts long, but doesn't dry out my lips. This is the best one I've found. It really stays on your lips. I gave it a 4 for moisturizing because all long wearing lipstick is a little bit drying, but as I said- this one is better than the rest. I bought Holy Pumpkin for a copperish color and Silky Sienna for a mauve, but not pink color. I generally wear Silky Sienna everyday b/c it's a neutral lip color and goes with everything.

Very nice and vibrant color but it didn't last long. When I started drinking from a cup, the cup ended up with the lipstick on it.

I was given a tube this lips stain for Christmas after the one I typically wear was discontinued. I liked it so much that I’ve purchased it in several colors. The color goes on matte and really stays in place throughout the day. I have very dry lips and matte is often hard for me to wear. I am able to put aquaphor (other other similar product) over it for more moisturizer and a bit of gloss. I have fair skin with pink undertones and have been able to wear each of the shades shown. I also found that I can easily layer them for a slightly different look. My new go to lip stain.

Last longer than the usual lipstick and is glossy without drying out

I can't speak on the lighter shades because I haven't tried them, but I got this in the dark purple shade and it is absolutely horrible. I would rather wear a long lasting matte liquid lip product, and that says A LOT since I have EXTREMELY dry lips.First off, I could not get this to apply evenly at all. Not only did it not give the full opaque coverage in one swipe like the picture makes it seem, but no matter how thin or thick I applied this it looked really patchy and felt thick on the lips. Also it transfers a lot, and as it transfers it comes of in patches making the patchiness even worse. Just lightly blotting it with a napkin after eating made it look like I had a lot of pigment in some places and none in others. Also it is SO sticky! Which adds to the patchiness and not getting a good even application aspects... Because of the stickiness, you can't blot it or rub your lips together at all when applying or while wearing it. I love to wear lip glosses and some stickiness doesn't bother me like it does a lot of other people, but this stuff makes it feel like you have a thick syrup on your lips or something.I absolutely love dark colored lip products (especially dark purples), but only usually buy them in lip products that claim to be long lasting because I want to know I am not going to end up with it all over my face, teeth, and etc., and that the color will hold up for at least a few hours without touch-ups needed and looking good. I don't know if the lighter colors are better, or even if maybe this is the only shade with such a horrible formula, but based on my experience I definitely will not be trying more. If they are going to promise long wear with a color like this, they better hold up to that promise.If you are looking for a similar product that actually does what this one claims, I highly recommend the Maybelline Vinyl Ink liquid lipsticks. Unfortunately they don't have the color selection these have, but hopefully that will be changing soon since they have had so much popularity. Also, the colors they do have are absolutely beautiful.

I've tried the Maybelline vinyl lipstick and this one is my preferred. This shade is an ease everyday colours.
