This was PERFECT! I Rescued a dog, that had a horrific old injury, and his leg was straight- like a pirate. He underwent a difficult surgery and needed to have his bad leg stabilized for a few weeks. This Splint worked perfectly! We purchased wide sticky Velcro and placed it in three places to support the leg and the Splint. We then noticed that a piece of the Velcro was rubbing, so we wrapped the Velcro w vet wrap. Then, we wrapped the entire Splint in vet wrap to give better support and to stop the rubbing. Scout- eventually recovered from his surgery, and became strong enough to walk again, without the Splint. However, he succumbed to hemangiosarcoma cancer 2 1/2 months after his splenectomy. I know the Splint definitely improved his quality of life and I am so thankful for that. We brought him in to his specialist and they loved the way the Splint was working for him. Scouts rear leg was unique and not all dog legs are like that- but- since Scout, I have noticed more dogs w a similar injury. I provided pictures, to show the different improvisations. I know when I was looking, this would have been so helpful to see. I hope it helps somebody else.

Thankfully, have yet to use this. It has made a long desired addition to my large 1st aid bag. It will NOT fit in any ifak bag Ive ever seen, but since its folded flat, it takes up minimal room in a larger bag or case. Seems thick enough to hold its shape after you mold it fir use.

Folds or rolls for easy packing. You can throw it in your pack/bag for hiking, camping, or whatever. Can easily store it in the car in case of emergencies at the ball park or anywhere you/family/friends are active.

Just what I need to keep in my backpack.You just never know when you might need it.

Just right! Larger size is perfect for this application because the splint wraps all the way around the arm/hand. I made a wrist/thumb spica splint for a friend and she loves it. It's very light weight but stays true to form and her pain has diminished already.

Excellent and versatile for first aid, school, church or emergency.

An essential for any car or First Aid bag
