How to achieve ‘natural’ muscle gains….
You know, there’s no great secret when it comes to achieving a well-balanced muscular physique. I’ve been bodybuilding for many years, so I speak from experience. To pack on that beefcake and feel good you just need to follow a disciplined weight-training programme (train at least 3-4 times each week), keep to a sensible, healthy diet, try to limit/avoid alcohol, and get 7-8 hours sleep each night - and THAT’S IT! As regards diet, you ideally need to daily consume 1.0 - 1.5 grams of protein per Kg of your own body weight. Personally, I prefer to get that protein from lean red meat, chicken, fish, eggs, soya and semi-skimmed milk etc. However, there are often days when I can’t achieve my personal protein target (presently 130g), so I need a top-up in the form of this whey protein supplement from PBN. I find this product to be reasonably priced, it contains high quality ingredients and it’s easy to mix and consume. Personally, I ain’t bothered about the taste because I’m not seeking a scrumptious milk shake, I just want a ‘quick to digest’ serving of protein, so I just purchase whatever flavour is the cheapest - on this occasion it was the ‘Cookies & Cream’ one. By the way, I do like that this PBN brand is sweetened using sucralose, which is an ideal sugar substitute because it contains zero calories.I have to say that I personally believe that weight-training is the best route to looking and feeling your best, so I’m always willing to pass on my tips to fellow gym rats. In the meantime, thanks for checking out my review, I do hope you found it of use - and remember: Train Hard, Live Better!🏃♀️➡️🚴♀️🤸♀️🏋️♀️💪

Great value for money given the quality.
Definitely a solid choice at a very good price point in the current market, especially given the ingredients and nutritional values. 2kg worth of powder for £31.50 at the time of buying for a blend giving 23.4g of protein and 6.1g BCAAs (isoleucine + leucine + valine content (if anyone was interested)) per 30g serving that doesn't cut costs with highly processed soy protein alternatives doesn't get much better than this.I've only really had experience with ON so far, so my frame of reference is from that point of view. Solid compared to them, I can see myself sticking with this when I want to save money. I've had no problems with clumps using a wire ball mixer, there were very small ones stuck to the bottom of my shaker's lid but easily came off with a spoon and I actually don't particularly mind lumps. Not as much a chocolate flavoured as I'm used to, but not bad by any means either. You end up with a thicker consistency than the ON powder but it is noticeably bordering too sweet for me personally. I get around this by adding a bit of water (mixing with milk) which thins and dilutes the sweetness without affecting the flavour.Do want to give a tip about the bag seal since many reviews mention it. When you open it for the first time, run your fingernail along the side which has powder stuck between the two zips it to get the seal working properly. Otherwise, there's no fault of the product itself from my experience, everyone has different tastes and preferences and I've found my way of using it. Great nutrition, great value for money, solid compared to the more premium (and expensive) ON blend.

Great value for money, but you get what you pay for.
Chocolate flavour is very creamy, but not very chocolatey, reminds me a bit of watered down galaxy hot chocolate powder. With some brands I'd blend it with almond milk, mix into oats, then microwave at work 2 hours later, but with this powder it goes a very strange texture so I need to microwave the oats and milk together, then add the protein. I also find myself adding a little cocoa powder as it's really not much flavour there. The protein to calorie per scoop ratio is great for the price, and as the cheapest £ per gram of protein I've found there's no room to complain. It does what it advertises, but it is a budget protein at the end of the day.

Best vanilla yet
I have this just to add some protein to my diet, not a body builder or anything! I add it to pancakes, porridge, smoothies etc. Of those I’ve tried this one is not overly sweet (though sweetness is par for the course), it mixes really well without too much thickening of the original food and generally is very palatable, which is why I ordered it a second time. Price is good too 😁

It'll do, but is very sweet.
Does the job and is affordable compared to other protein powders. I've tried a few of the PNB flavours and this one so far is my least favourite. It's very sweet and doesn't really taste like chocolate peanut butter. The seal on the bag is absolute trash but that's not the end of the world, I just put it inside a bigger zip lock bag.
