good stuff and great performance
I used this for waste water treatment. It works pretty darn good. I mixed the powder with water to make a solution I can add to the water that's being treated. The only thing the description didn't mention was how important the pH of the wastewater is. If the pH of the water is to high or to low it can take up to two days for the water to flocculate and settle. The best pH for flocculation is between 6 and 7. I controlled my pH by using costic soda. I found this out because it was taking forever for the aluminum sulfate to coagulate. I'm not using my water to drink nor would I ever recommend making your own drinking water with this stuff.

This was bought for an experiment my husband is doing to refurbish old car batteries. 5 lbs. is the right amount needed at one time.
