The Good: Please note that I gave this 4 stars overall. The bed is soft, has adequate padding, and seems like it will be quite easy to wash.The Bad: Having said that, one should note that the dimensions shown do not reflect the entrance of the bed, but rather the bed itself. My smallest dog is around 11 inches (25cm) from nose to rear. The calculations for finding the right bed state "PETS LENGTH + 6 inches". And while my toy dachshund can fit in and lay down comfortably, it is impossible for her to go in head first and turn around. The hole to get into and out of the bed is just too small. Unless very small, your dog will more than likely need assistance to get into the bed properly, as backing into it is near impossible with the way the fabric lays.While it's too small for my dogs, the cat loves it. But cats are made of water and fit into anything.

I got this bed for my dachshund puppy and so far she loves it. I've had to wash the bed a few times and it's still holding up well. I would definitely buy it again.

My cat loves burrowing into piles of clothes and blankets so I thought he might love a little burrow bed. He’s a very large 15lb (not fat, just a big boy) cat and he fits just fine in here! He’ll curl his whole body up in it. He wasn’t sure at first but a couple of hours later I found him snoring in it. Only dropped a star because the top sometimes caves in when he’s not in it and I have to fluff it up, but this doesn’t happen constantly. Would definitely recommend!

I bought three pet beds the same day because I couldn't tell which would be better for my 13 lb dog. This one was the winner. Honestly he can't get himself into it, because he's a little stubborn. He goes in headfirst and dead-ends, but if I put him in, rear first, he likes that, sort of jiggle him in backwards, and he loves it!! Great cave bed!

I don’t know why it called a dog bed. My cats really love it and use it every day, especially now with the cold weather kicking in. My cats are 8 and 12 pounds and they fit inside perfectly. It’s big enough for the bigger one to get in and turn around. Sometimes they just sleep on top of the bed and it’s fine with me. The bed is very soft inside and out. Didn’t have a chance to wash it yet, but sure it will wash ok.

I volunteer at the local shelter and the cats there love a similar product. But I could not get our cats to go into them even for treats. I will take them to the shelter and see if it is just a spoiled cats issue. I think they look good and don't understand the issue.

Brought for a miniature dachshund but very tight fit think best suited to catsCame packaged flat so the cave part is not very cave like as was squished flat in deliveryAlso if your dog likes to chew not very robust as we have holes in after on few weeks

I buy a lot of things, but this super dog cave has saved me from being woken up several times a night by a cold little dog.She just gets in and is snuggly warm all night, though because she is tiny at just over 2kg I do put a little blanket in as well to fill the space a little. She loves it and so do I.

Too small for my dog and refund although offered not enough to cover the return postage to the states so not bothered. I must admit i had no idea this was coming from the states when i ordered

When Harley, our 7 1/2 pound long coat Chihuahua first saw the cave bed, he dragged it around and dove into it rolling around. As he sleeps in the bedroom which is quite cool at night, I wanted something to keep him warm. This certainly fills the bill as shown in the center picture, it took him about 5 minutes to slowly come out of his bed. It also fits perfectly into a metal cage as he is still a puppy and needs to be caged for his own well-being.It has already needed to be washed. Happily, it washed and dried very well. I did have to put it into the dryer on "Air Fluff" setting and there was no lint in the washer or the dryer.Very happy with this product and highly recommend it. Harley does as well!

I had high hopes for this as a warm secure snuggle spot for my kitty. Unfortunately my kitty had other ideas.The two main problems with this pet bed for us were: the size - my kitty is a small adult cat and this bed is really too small for her to get in and turn around. The other issue is how the base of the bed is finished - the padding stuffing is randomly dispersed around the base leaving big areas without any padding whatsoever, meaning that in those sparce areas, there will be no protection from the ground for your pet.I purchased two of these and the stuffing issue was worse in one than the other, but still the problem existed in both. I returned one and kept the other.I wouldn't recommend this unless you are buying for a kitten and plan to place the bed on a soft warm surface.
