Q: Will the cleaner remove mold and some grease spots on a tan canvas?

My Porsche top is black but the cleaner does a great job on it and it appears free of any spots of grease, etc when I'm done

Q: Will the Protectant work as well as the top quality wood paste floor wax I use now on a vinyl roof? I fear that taping - covering will take 2 long.

Never used a wood paste floor wax so cannot compare. But the Ragg Top I used on a canvas top. Looks good but does not last. Is good for a con cours competition not for long term protection. Has a texture similar to hairspray

Q: how often u need to clean and protect your top

We recommend twice a year depending on whether the car is stored indoor or outdoors. You can see when it's in need of treatment. Just like a well waxed car the water should bead up when it first rains. There should be small beads of water. When the beads start to become larger and spread further apart you should re-apply protectant. Clean once a year or as needed. Your top will eventually saturate since it is porous. So be sure to see how it beads when it first rains rather than an hour after. This is also dependent on the volume of rain. Use your best judgment.

Q: how do you to tell if ragtop is fabrix or vinyl

Run water from a hose onto the top. If it's cloth the top will eventually soak in the water since it's porous. If the water continually runs off it is vinyl.
