Well worth the money
Not being overly versed in knives like a lot seem to be these days i can only say as a almost daily used edc its so far a great buy. Comes razor sharp (shaves body hair with ease on the full length of the blade) and didnt go completely dull after using for everyday cuts of various materials ..in fact its still will shave body hair ,just not as completely as when new..the g10 handle skins are perfectly grippy ,the flipper and bearing pivot work flawlessly..i usually hate liner locks ,especially with sharp knives but the design saves me from accidental cuts so far.. it been in my pocket daily for awhile now and hasnt loosened at all ,and its quite addicting as a fidget item too.the “flicker “ opener works fantastically smooth and locks it in place easily .. china has really stepped up their production qc here(and in a lot of stuff lately) and at $42 ,around the same price as my buck 110 was years back , though different ,its comparable in quality..blade is a little on the thin side but it must be good metal as its not an issue so far. This is My 2nd civivi (also have Qubit Damascus blade) and with my slight addiction to knives i doubt its my last..i see one of their high end /more expensive blades {elite brova in particular}in my future ..lol

A 3 years later review
3 year review... I've honestly never carried a single pocket knife this long. They've never lasted that long! I can't recommend this enough, opens fast, carrys easy, there's barely any wiggle between the blade an handle, I've never had to tighten anything, it sharpens easy an holds edge good, comfortable in the hand. Favorite feature is the width across the blade, with a high thumb grip (refer to third picture) makes it more comfortable an easy to reach both hands blindly into an animals chest cavity to remove esophagus, lungs, heart an not cut the other hand in the process. Thinner edge to back blades don't have the same feel to me. Most my friends an family now carry this blade because of me (gifted from me or purchased themselves) no complaints from them or from me.

Excellent knife!
Superior ergonomics and solid build. Also an excellent value. Fits perfectly in the hand and is very sharp out of the box. I will be purchasing more products from this company in the very near future. Extremely pleased with this knife! Thank you!

Just a really good knife at a fair price
This is, in my opinion, a very good knife for the price. The blade has a high carbon content in the steel. It does hold an edge and is easy to sharpen. A drop of oil prevents rust and is not a big deal. To have a sharp knife is well worth the time to give it a drop of oil once in a great while. It opens easily with the finger flipper and locks in place. The pocket clip seems very sturdy..time shall tell. I've lost two knives due to cheap clips that would not 'clip' tightly on a pocket. Just a good pocketknife at a fair price! I love it.

Seems great, but what's with the blade coating?
Knife scores high for feel in hand, flipper opening, blade shape, received sharpness. My problem: This is advertised as having a stonewashed black finish. But, there seems to be some sort of coating on it. I noticed it when slicing a piece of cheddar: There was black crud on the slice. Scrubbing the knife with a soft kitchen scrubber/sponge dulled the finish, but didn't seem to eliminate the problem. I did a test cut the next day... crud still coming off. So, not recommended for food until it's had enough use to get off whatever final treatment they put on the blade.

Standout everyday carry knife
This pocket knife quickly earned a permanent spot in my daily carry. It hits that sweet spot between size, weight, and performance, making it feel like a true working knife rather than something meant to sit unused in a drawer. The balance is excellent, the blade comes razor sharp right out of the box, and the flip-open action is impressively smooth and effortless. I was hesitant at first since this was my first knife from CIVIVI, but that skepticism disappeared almost immediately. The build quality is far better than the price suggests. The handle feels secure and comfortable, filling the hand nicely without being bulky, and the grip inspires confidence whether you’re doing quick cuts or more controlled tasks. The micarta scales add to that comfort and give the knife a clean, understated look. The blade itself is well designed for everyday use. It holds an edge well, slices cleanly thanks to its thin profile, and the drop-point shape makes it versatile for a wide range of cutting jobs. The steel choice feels like a smart balance of toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention, especially at this cost. The lockup is solid with no hesitation, and the deep-carry pocket clip slides on and off a pocket smoothly while keeping the knife discreet. It does have a bit of heft for its size, but that actually reinforces the sense that it’s built to last rather than cut corners. While I wouldn’t expect this to be a “buy it for life” knife, it absolutely feels capable of handling daily use for years. Even if it eventually gets retired to a toolbox or tackle bag, it would still feel like money well spent. Overall, this is a standout everyday carry knife that delivers far more than you’d expect at its price point. Excellent fit and finish, smooth action, dependable materials, and practical design all come together here. It’s hard not to be impressed—and it definitely makes me want to check out more knives from this brand.

A good knife that made me realize I prefer something smaller
I'm not a knife enthusiast or steel expert, so this review is coming from the perspective of a regular user who carries a knife and expects it to work reliably. So far, this has been a very good knife. It arrived sharp, feels well built, and is comfortable in the hand. The fit and finish are solid, and it has enough weight to feel substantial without becoming cumbersome. The balance is slightly handle-heavy, but not to the point that it negatively affects control or usability. What I like: * arrived sharp * comfortable grip * solid construction * satisfying weight and feel * smooth flipper action * good overall fit and finish One thing this knife taught me is that I may have bought more knife than I actually need. I'm relatively new to flipper knives and wanted to add a larger blade to my rotation. That's exactly what I got. The larger size provides a capable cutting tool and plenty of blade length, but it also lacks some of the quick, lively feel that I enjoy in my smaller folders. To be clear, I don't view that as a flaw in the knife. It's simply the reality of a larger blade. More size and mass bring certain advantages, but they also change how a knife carries and handles. That's really the advice I'd give prospective buyers: think carefully about whether you actually want a full-size knife. If you do, this is a good example of one. If you're like me and mostly use a knife for everyday tasks, a smaller version may end up fitting your needs better. In fact, I've been happy enough with this knife that I plan to pick up the mini version as well. That's probably a stronger endorsement than anything else I could say. The quality and design impressed me enough that I'd gladly buy from this company again—I just suspect the smaller model is a better match for my personal carry preferences. Overall, this is a well-made knife that delivers exactly what it promises. Just make sure the size aligns with how you actually use a pocket knife before making your choice.

Excellent EDC knife
Fantastic knife for the price. The flipper is very smooth. The knives looks very good and the blade is sharp out of the box. It is a large pocket knife and takes up a lot of room in your pocket. This is my second Praxis as I love the button model I already had.

Sting
Excellent flipper. Sharp out of the box. Perfect centered blade. I like that blade is virgin. There is no marking on it. Only thing scales are little thin and I got a large fist so handle came little smaller then I expected

Don’t buy it very bad
Don’t buy it as the product is already toxic for cutting food (lots of carbon powder coated). Blade is very poor from factory (I doubt it’s original). You can’t play in safe mode as the blade is bouncing back (you need to be very careful). The lock mechanism is very narrow (your finger will be hurt ).
