The best knife in the business for all top professionals
I had to write this because the other fellow's one star is NOT based on the performance of these knives, but on his experience with a picture being different than what he received.I do wish that Amazon would pay closer attention to their online sellers, especially those who are confusing customers with what seem to be imitations. As for this knife, our office, art department and pre-press room have used this number 11 blade and knife since the 1970s and it is the most precise knife available. I would not trust any imitation. The balance and weight are what is needed for this sort of work. If using these for the first time it's very important to know how to properly use them and store them. Sticking the blade in a soft cork is the easiest way we've found because the tops seem to get lost. You also need to make sure you have put the blade in correctly and twisted tight on the grip that turns to tighten the blade. This grip can also start to get loose, based on use, so it's good to check that it is still tight after using the knife for some time. As you become a pro with these knives you will probaby check the tightness automatically.Thank you for reading this--hope it's helpful.

The photo does not represent the item described
I ordered this item by looking at the photo and really not reading the description. Well I guess I deserved what I got, but it looks like the photo should be of the item being described. What is shown is a box of #11 blades and what you get is a #1 knife. Go figure, maybe this was really not a mistake but deception.
