So disappointed...
I was shocked when I opened this package and found out that the plate and server were made in China! Nowhere does it say in the product information that it is not made in England, which is why I bought it. This should be imperative when listing items for sale on Amazon. There is a very obvious difference between this Portmeirion china made in China, and that which is made in England.I have been collecting Portmeirion for over 40 years, and this is definitely not the quality that I expect when I buy it.This is a gift, so I do not have time ( nor do I want to go to the expense) to return it .Lesson learned...I will never buy Portmeirion online again.

Nice raised cake plate.
Quality item. Nice piece to use for cake, muffins, etc.

Flawed product
The plate, although lovely, had a very obvious gray blemish/dimple on the front of it, & was therefore returned. Disappointed that this was not noted when boxed!
