SnuggiPhone SE 1 (2016) Case, Leather Flip Case [Card Slots] Executive Apple iPhone SE Wallet Case Cover and Stand - Black

I liked this case at first but then I realized a lot of flaws after using it for one month. The plastic that holds the phone in is flush with the front of the phone so while I was walking through a parking lot, I dropped it. Because the phone has the flap on it, it landed flat on the ground and shattered the screen. This could have been prevented if the plastic around the phone was raised above the surface of the screen. All phone cases I owned before had that feature. Also, the corners aren't protected well so it cracked one of the corners too. I have had iPhones for years and have never cracked a screen. This case creates "wings" when the phone falls so that it falls flat to the ground not on a corner. Also my driver's license would get stuck in the front pocket and I would not be able to get it out. It would usually take 30 seconds to wiggle it out. I was just past the 30 day return for amazon when my screen shattered. I am disappointed that I could not return it.Update. After posting this review, Snugg contacted me and is sending me a new case to replace this one. I still do not trust the case to protect my phone but I must say that the customer service experience is amazing!

Great updated case design than previous version I had. Once I placed my phone into it, I hadn't been able to get it out, which is more than I could say for the previous version, as I'd rather have that then my phone easily falling out when dropped. The plastic corners are much stronger. I dropped my phone the other day in a parking lot & didn't realize until this afternoon that the two top corners had broken off as the broken off pieces fell onto my face

The first one of these I bought lasted more than a year with hard use, so I bought a second one and the quality has changed dramatically. Almost immediately the magnetic tab closure frayed along the stitching and the "leather" began to rub off along the bottom revealing a white background material. I was so disappointed and I never registered the case to collect on the life-time warranty and get a replacement. Such a shame as the first one I bought was so awesome and looked great for so long. Maybe a got a lemon but I'll never know.

I ordered 4 of this in BLACK as I have an iPhone 5S for some time and the case just fits well, including my credit cards. I bought 4 because I like having a back up. This order came in 2 blacks, 1 brown and 1 blue. I never wanted any other color but BLACK. The credit card slots seem to have become smaller that it was an effort to put in my cards. I was afraid i would break it. Very disappointing! And I had to take the time to package it again to return. I kept the black ones and returned the other ones in different colors. The orders were specific as to wanting black color only. The fulfillment department screwed it up, leading to losing out on my two extra back-up and having to take time to go to UPS to return the wrong merchandise! C'mon guys, you have become too big that you cannot get it right.

I got the same product for my iPad. This I use much more frequently. Will see how well the flap holds up over time. The stitching , there, is already loosening. I do very much like the magnet that is built into it. Much easier to open that way. For something this small, I do not see the need to include the built in stand. I wanted a product that had a selection of bright colors, so that I could easily see where I put my phone down. If not for the stitching I would have given this five stars.

Revising review.While I loved everything about this case, I ordered it in an off-shite. The first day (DAY!) I used it, a blue ink bleed-through happened around the closure thingy and a little circle on the back side.I didn't return it b/c I liked the case and thought I could clean it. But when I tried the ink stain didn't budge.Not sure if it's bleeding from the inside out.I see no way to return it. : (

I got my first Snugg case last year and it held up amazingly. I tend to drop my phone but the case held up! The only reason I need a new one is because I lost the old one when I switched phones.Update (June '17)I lowered it one star because my current case is in pretty bad condition, although it has been nearly a year. It's definitely a good case for the price, but it's not the best in terms of protection. It should hold up fine for someone less drop-happy though

Unlike seemingly every review here, I actually bought this - wasn't a promotional item. It holds the iPhone SE very well - no worries about it popping out. The build quality seems good, the contrast stitching is a nice touch, the magnetic clasp works well and the pockets for the cards in the cover aren't too tight and aren't too loose. The material seems durable but I've only had it for a week so make of that what you will.So yeah - pretty nice wallet-style phone case.

Case fits well, and magnet gives positive close, but it loses a star for the colour and the magnetic flap. The screen shots show a nice bright (almost Hermes) orange. What I received was a far more muted and pastel shade, which I would describe as 'coral'. See photos.Pros:The case works well, it holds the phone very positively and the leather is nicely stitched and the folds are well made. The case extends around the phone by about 1mm to give some impact protection and the inside material is nice and soft to the touch. When you fold the case back to make or receive a call, there is a magnet to help hold the front flat to the back. The flap can then be folded around over the front (but as per below this isn't quite so good). The card slots on the inside of the cover are sufficiently tight to stop your Oyster or debit card slipping out and also fit train tickets I found.Cons:The magnetic flap gives a nice positive close when the case is shut, but is a bit annoying when on a call or when using the phone in portrait mode (for watching video, etc.). It doesn't fold back on itself perfectly and the magnet isn't strong enough to really hold the strap in place in either mode. The 'hidden pocket' is under very thin fabric and anything in there like a business card or folded notes would be detectable easily. It's a handy place to slip folded £10 note for emergencies or to put a couple of business cards in if you're off to a meeting, but that's about it.But for £14.99 it's not bad. Personally I'd pay more for a better magnetic flap, but that's me.

Case arrived promptly and in good condition. The case fits the phone perfectly and protects it well. I would have given it five stars but the case began to look a little tired and grubby very quickly. I would recommend anyone who actually uses their phone to seriously reconsider getting this case in a light colour - it picks up every little mark going. I cannot fit my cards in to the card slots, so I dont know how well they work. I would hesitate putting any cards in the case, as the magnetic clip is very strong (it picks up hairgrips and small screws very well).All in all it is a good case for keeping your phone protected. But not a good style choice!

Rubbish phone case bought it about February last year but didn’t get round to using it till three months ago but thing phone sits in snapped at corner and magnet started cracking and leather started peeling and the state of the underneath where my phone had been sitting on was bad I wouldn’t buy another I have emailed Snugg as they is meant to be a lifetime warranty on the cover and hopping for a 14.99 refund but not holding my breath a lifetime warranty should be a lifetime warranty and you should be in titled to refund

Good fit but this is 3rd case like this I've had. They only last a few months looking new before the leather starts to crease and peal off. Not many other cases fit the SE so revert to purchasing another of these. It's a shame the guarantee doesn't cover general use for a case!!!

This case is robust, well made and of a high quality. I feel that my iPhone is well protedted and the bright colour (said to be purple, but closer to licac) means that it is easy to locate in the bottom of my handbag. Fairly expensive in comparison to other cases but certainly worth the extra expenditure.
