Loam & Lore - Biodegradable and Compostable Eco iPhone 12 Mini Case, Plant Based and Sustainable Protective Zero Waste Plastic Free Vegan Phone Cover Turquoise

I wanted something eco friendly, and this fits the bill - it also ships in cardboard packaging, no plastic at all. The turquoise colour and design is fantastic. However, like other reviewers I found it doesn’t fit properly on the right hand side front - luckily my iPhone 12 mini is black and so it’s hard to notice.Worse though, is no matter how gently I tried to fit it (because I’d already read the review warning it might snap), the case has cracked at the front where the lightning connector is and it is thinnest. It still stays on but I’m gutted. I’d send it back but I think due to the material and how thin it has to be, it will always be a brittle point on the case so I’ll just put up with it as I rarely will have cause to remove it.

I bought this after a more expensive leather case from another supplier developed significant wear after just a month on my phone.The case feels pretty sturdy and the material has a good quality slightly rubberised texture. It is not a dust magnet like some silicone cases, and it is great that it is also biodegradable. After over a month on my phone there are minimal signs of wear and tear.Knocking off one star as I don’t think the case would offer a huge amount of drop protection (although there is a lip around the screen and camera). Also the cut out around the microphone at the bottom is quite small, and this slightly reduces audio pick up at times.None of those small minuses have been a problem for me though. The case is great value and recommended. I will keep it on my phone for the immediate future.

I bought this because I wanted a biodegradable case made from recycled materials. I like the colour (turquoisy green) and it’s really comfy in my hand and all the key buttons are easily accessible.The one thing I would say is the fit of the case around the phone is not perfect. It’s not quite as snug as it could be. I have the product red 12 mini and I can see a sliver of red to the right hand side of my screen. I’ve had a case a few months and it doesn’t bother me anymore, it takes nothing away from the user experience but if there were one reason not to give it 5 stars it would be this.

Seems good product but the fit is very tight. On the first day, the bottom snapped whilst trying to remove it. Still usable but not ideal.
