If you get this book in Black & White you will have a terrible time figuring out the wiring since the Red, Green, Black & white will show up in Grey, Grey, Black & White. I was able to find one color page online & not all links are found online. The sound clips I found were distorted. Some with Bass & guitar so you could make out the sounds that well and you didn't know what part of the guitar mod you were hearing since there was no title on the sound clips. The book could have been excellent in color (terrible in black & white) but could have been a little clearer in breaking up the mods into sections with title to what he is doing next. The way it is it just runs together. The writer I believe knows his stuff, however it is poorly written.

The book itself is quite informative but the content is all black and white and a bit like a Haynes manual albeit with bigger pictures. Black and white images might be okay when changing a CV joint but very problematic when dealing with wiring of various colours. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to follow some of the diagrams in the book. There are ways of illustrating wiring diagrams in black and white - using patterns - and this could easily have been done in this book. The diagrams even have a pointless mid-grey background which optically makes them even harder to see.Granted, there is a URL to download a colour PDF version but that makes me feel like I have bought a digital copy with a redundant paper copy when I wanted something I could have on my workbench without fear of damaging my iPad. And books don't go to sleep when you have both hands critically busy.

Hot as hell! Fantastic book, both for the seasoned pro and the newcomer alike. Recommended.
