Small Investment, Big Return
The K668 microphone from Fifine Technology is highly worth the money. Its ability to be so inexpensive yet exceed the job that it was made for, deserves high praise. You can get a lot of things for $20, but a GOOD microphone was never in my mind until I came across this product. I just started making YouTube videos with my iPhone and used the mic built into it to record audio. I knew I was going to need to save up for a microphone eventually but then I decided to give this one a try. After about a week with the mic, I can say that it holds the "Amazon's Choice" status for a reason. The K668's design is one thing that should be recognized. I didn't expect it to be built with a quality full metal body. The tripod for the mic also has hints of plastic, but nothing too extreme to make it look cheap. The hint comes from the plastic bottom with a screw (to screw into the microphone to combine the two) where the tripod legs come out from. The mic also has a well sized and made cable that comes from the body of it. I have not had it for that long yet the design still lets me know that it will be here for a good while in terms of durability. It also comes with an anti wind foam cap which is great for not picking up any excessive amounts of air being blown out of your mouth or nose. Finally, the microphone surprisingly records GREAT audio in comparison to my default iphone mic and that really matters. It can pick up and isolate my voice very well and is easy to set up across many devices that support a USB plug. I am able to use this with my PC, Macbook Pro, and iPhone (along with a dongle). In the end, I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone that wants or is in need of a mic and that doesn't plan on breaking their banks for brand name products.

it does a very good job. I record my audio using Audacity which ...
I purchased this microphone to use for my youtube channel I recently created. I do not use it for anything crazy, no singing or recording music, for example. I simply use this mic to record me talking for my videos. This is a very inexpensive microphone that comes with a pop filter and stand. Its sole use is as a USB microphone as far as I can tell. In my opinion, it does a very good job. I record my audio using Audacity which I like a lot. I usually only add bass to my audio after recording which is standard for most audio. The sound is really clear and sounds natural, i.e. not compressed or high or low in pitch. It is fairly sensitive but if you have any background noise you can just use the noise reduction feature in Audacity to select the background noise in your audio and then cut out any background sound. I simply leave the mic on my desk a few feet away from me or so. The mic also is made out of metal and feels fairly durable, so I do not think you should have issues with it wearing out.Again, all in all I think this is a very good basic and inexpensive USB microphone and I would highly recommend it. In the picture attached, I included everything you will get. The microphone with stand and the pop filter which i have attached. For some reason the microphone works in audacity but will not engage when i record video on my webcam. I do not know if it engages with skype either, so keep this in mind and hopefully it is just a small problem i need to fix on my end if i wanted to use my mic with those programs. All in all this is a good affordable microphone. I recommend it for people who need to do small audio recordings that sound relatively clean. I think the microphone on your laptop is sufficient though if you are only using it for video or voice chatting. Nonetheless a great find!

Good Standard Mic
I had a pretty small budget ($25 and under) for a microphone I could order quickly as the one on my gaming headset stopped working all of a sudden. I ended up purchasing the Fifine USB Plug & Play Microphone. The product comes as described and comes with a pop filter. The stand that comes with it is pretty nice. It's very sturdy and stays in place very well. It's easy to adjust and take the microphone off and put it on. You can't really adjust it higher with the stand but you can adjust the mic to point up and down. You can also take the microphone off and use it on most any type of mic stand. I feel like it's a good size to be able to sit right on your desk in front of you.The only issue is that is HAS to be right in front of you because it does not register my voice from any farther away than a few inches in front of my face. That is the reason for a 4-star rating and not a 5-star rating. Other than that, it's a nice microphone. The input sound is quite clear and easy to understand (if you're close enough to the microphone). And of course, one of the benefits of a USB microphone is the plug and play aspect. It is as simple as that. You can just plug it in and start using it, depending on how your computer detects new hardware. It's a good mic for the money. There are probably better mics out there but this is a good standard mic for doing things like talking on Skype, gaming, or making videos. All of that being said, I will continue using it -- until I find one that can detect my voice better without having to sit inches in front of my face.
