Fits *2020 CVA scout 45-70 and Bushnell trophy
Using medium rings did not give me enough height to clear the hammer on a Bushnell trophy 3-9.Mount fits perfect and is the correct height leaving me some room to spare. But easy to cheek rest and see through. Perfect size. I would guess you could get a 50 mm scope on here. Results May vary.

ok mount, wrong screws
The base fits my CVA Wolf, but the base mount screws are too small. My CVA Wolf uses #8-40 1/4" screws, but it didn't come with that size screws, and good luck finding them, because they are nit a common size. On top of that, the ring screws were the wrong size as well. Personally, I think I'd just buy another base that has the correct screws. That would be less headache.

Does the job, and holds zero
It does the job. Easy install. Had to remove the rear iron sight on my CVA Wolf for the objective lens of a Nikon Buckmasters II 3-9x40 to fit, thats the reason for 4 stars, although thats more the scope/gun than the mount. The Wolf is a light enough rig that the weight of the mount isn't really an issue, as I'm not trying to build an ultra-light tacticool muzzleloader. Sighted in at 50 yards and scope has maintained zero for the past few seasons without issue.

Solid frame to hold your scope
Really nice solid frame for mounting your scope. This one will go onto a CVA Wolf muzzleloader. It comes with an Allen wrench and set screws. I like it.

its OK. Not great.
Its OK. The "alloy" is every bit as heavy as steel. Yes, really. It is not anywhere near the quality of the DNZ mount it aspires to be, however, mounted to a new CVA Wolf using a Centerpoint 3-9x40AO mil dot scope, it was well aligned & on paper at 50 yards. Sighted in 6 shots. Rings should be lapped if you're gonna stick a $500 scope on this mount. It also uses Torx head screws. Scope caps & mounting screws are the same size (not length) & it comes with a small Torx wrench. While these are practical for the application, it's the only scope among 40 or so I own that use them. Really didn't want yet another tool in the field box. Will not buy another but will leave it on the Wolf now that I'm used to the setup. Would be an okay buy at $20, not at $30.

Perfect fit -But short 2 ring screws & the other 4 were too small in diameter.
Love that it is made in the USA and fit my Wolf as advertised. Depressing that I couldn't mount my scope due to the 2 ring screws missing on top of the 4 screws that mount the base were a size too small and didn't fit the pre drilled holes diameter wise.. UPDATE: Just got back from ACE (which carry gun screws) but didn't have the right size . Nor did Home Depot. Off to the gun shop tomorrow.

Great mount for CVA wolf with large obj lens.
This mount fit like a glove on my CVA wolf. I purchased a large rifle scope with 44mm objective lens, and the OEM scope mount for the CVA wolf wouldn't work. With the new mount, I have good clearance and a secure hold on the scope.

Included hardware doesn't work with CVA muzzleloaders
This scope mount came with 6 screws for hardware. 2 screws a little longer than 1/2" & 4 screws a little longer than 3/4". All of the screws are too small in diameter to fit the pre-drilled and threaded holes in the barrel of a brand new CVA Optima. Best I can determine, the barrels are drilled and threaded #8-40, probably need something about 1/4" or 3/8" in length. Not that it matters, but all of the included screws are also too long. You will not find the needed screws in most hardware store. Pretty sorry for a product specifically advertised to fit all modern CVA muzzle loaders. The two types of screws are both threaded to meet the scope ring thread - but the 4 screws are too long and hang well below the bottom of the mount
