No luck
I soaked hickory chips overnight. I put on my Weber grill at the lowest setting, caught on fire within an hour and basically just made a mess.

Too tall for my gas grill
This thing seems like a great idea, but it's too tall to go under the grates of my gas grill. It needs to be about a half inch shorter.

Best way to add smoke to propane grill
I bought for a friend who uses foil to add wood smoke to his propane grill. This box is great for adding smoke to your propane grill. Good way to do it until you master using charcoal and the just wood to BBQ.

Great for the amateur smoking needs
This smoker fit great on my gas grill. Didnt take long for the wood to start smoking. Did a brisket flat using it. Turned out great.

Great Smokey flavour and pretty easy to use
Great value and does what it’s supposed to do. I used it on my Weber Genesis e-310 directly on top of one of the flavourizer bars over a burner to smoke a 5lb pork shoulder (low and slow!) The flavour turned out amazing. It was a little cumbersome to replace the wood chips (picked up the unit with oven mitts, dumped out the ash and topped it up with fresh soaked wood chips every 60-90 minutes or so). Also, I jammed some foil into the bottom of the unit to cover the gaps in it to prevent the wood chips from catching fire. Not sure if this was necessary but didn’t want to risk it.After a 6 hour smoke it still looks to be in great shape.I’m still planning to some day buy a dedicated smoker but I will make do with this for the summer. Going to try ribs next and then risk doing a brisket!
