Comfortable
I’ve been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic. Initially, I had a desk chair I paid too much for from Target and it was it was extremely uncomfortable, but this review is not about my previous mistake. I wish I would have just spent the money and purchased this chair first. It is super comfortable, reclines, and my back is not hurting at the end of the day. I’d recommend this product to anyone that’s looking for a solid desk chair. My wife loved it and now I’m buying her one as well.

not a primary home office chair -- no lumbar support, cheap fake leather
I bought this "invest in my home office chair" back when the Covid started, back when we all figured out we were going to be working at home for a long time. I'm still working at home today, Jan 2023, and I just threw the chair in the garbage. 2 1/2 years.Pros:1. It looks beautiful when you first put it together. As a not-primary chair, it is really a beautiful piece. It looks comfy, warm, and elegant.Cons:1. There is no lower back/lumbar support -- like at all. Within days I had to go a little cushion and this was a real sore spot for me. The art and beauty of the chair -- and then spoiling it with a cheap little cushion. A couple of times I tried removing the cushion so you could see the chair, and my back started screaming at me and I had to put it back.2. The "bonded" leather didn't last. I get that we all put our covid chairs through the ringer, but two and a half years from brand new -- to -- throw it in the garbage? Back when I was looking at chairs, I really really wanted to not have a fake leather chair, but I just couldn't find any. I figured, it's a Lazy boy, they've been making good leather chairs for longer than I've been alive, this might be safe, if anybody could figure it out it woudl be them... It started coming apart at around the end of the first year, at two years in I decided it was time to replace. In conclusion, if you're looking to fill a conference room, sure, this is a good chair, looks great, and at 400$ is a really inexpensive chair. (Thus two stars instead of just one star) For a primary chair though, no way. It's money you'll have to spend again in a fairly short time. The lazy boy brand itself is not the same quality brand my grandparents grew up with.

You can't sit back
This chair is very frustrating to sit in. The leather over time gets very smooth and slippery. Do not buy this chair if you ever plan on sitting back. Once you sit back you will find your rear end slipping forward.

Clunky
It's a bulky chair and feels clunky. Good quality overall, but sitting in the chair feels like sitting in a Chrysler. Not in a good way.

Perfect for me
I also had a chair that costs 3x this one and never fit me -- 6'2", 250 lbs., long-waisted. This is the best I've found for the money.
