Do not try to use on carpet with long pile as it keeps moving.
We have recently re-carpeted our bungalow and needed something to stop the wear down the hallway. We bought this underlay for on top of our carpet and it works really well. However we have a longer pile in one of our rooms and the underlay does not stay still, it keeps moving when you walk on the rug on top of it.

Works well but needed sticking to rug
Works well but only after it was needed stuck to the rug to stop it sliding off. Otherwise 5*

Would recommend this product
The underlay works quite well. The rug (on top of carpet) used to always crumple in several places but since putting down this underlay it rarely does it now, only very occasionally when there is a lot of footfall on the rug.

No more moving rug
The rug moves slightly when I vacuum but other than that, it stays put

Not for to keep rug on top of carpet.
Wanted to stop rug from slipping on top of carpet .it doesn't. Probably better on lino or wooden floors.

Rug over carpet moves
As an item to stop rugs moving on carpet it does not work. Carpets still move unfortunately. Would advise to avoid.
