Electronic Inclinometer, Digital Protractor/Level/Angle Finder and Gauge Tools with V-Groove Magnetic Base and Backlight - Dust and Waterproof IP65 Precision Smart Level

I bought this to perform an alignment on my vehicle. After repeating measurements on wheels multiple times, and getting different readings, I had to check it to a reference. The calibration is, I guess supposed to reference out on the vertical reference (left/right). Since you calibrate facing towards you and then rotate so it faces away from you on the same spot. However the level can be placed on either its top or bottom. Placing the level on the top and bottom in the same spot will produce different readings which leads me to believe that the sensor is not parallel to both surfaces (or the surfaces are not parallel). Since the display re-orients itself to display the characters properly for either top or bottom measurement and "if" you don't pay careful attention to which side you used, it will throw your readings off substantially (like over a full degree). Also my fixtures are made from 1.25" angle iron and 1" square tubing, I can attach them to my wheel and place the level on the fixture, take the level off, and then place the level on again and the readings will be different. Not drastically but when you are measuring camber at .8 degrees and the measurement varies by .3 degrees between successive readings it is kind of hard to trust which one or either measurement are correct.

I was having difficulty getting prints to come out right on my 3D printer because the bed had the tiniest slope to the right and the printer’s firmware is too idiotic to compensate. That’s a complaint about my 3D printer and not about this leveler. After using the leveler to calibrate the build plate height on my CR-10 V3, it automagically started making good prints again. I’m very happy with this tool.If anything I should mention might be improved, I think it is a little hard to read which side it thinks there is a slope on (right or left). Perhaps if it displayed negative and positive numbers, then it would make sense, but there was a bit of a learning curve for me figuring out what the graphic at the top-left means.

I’m not sure if I bypassed any reviews already revealing this information but my only real gripe with this level is how thick it is. Surely the manufacturer could have made this half the thickness that they shipped it as but instead I got something that’s comparable to a late 90’s Motorola. It also doesn’t include batteries in the package so just be prepared with your own. I bought this to make more precise conduit bends when necessary and it does it’s job although I will say if you are using it for this same task bend slowly because the meter takes a second to catch up. The magnets are also surprisingly strong but I guess they’d have to be to hold this behemoth to a piece of pipe. All in all this is okay for what it is and well constructed but I’ll definitely be purchasing something smaller for my tool bag.

There are VERY few times in life when a fellow needs a digital magnetic inclinometer. But... when one of those occasions arises, this is an excellent example of one to have. It works great, it's super simple, and it's cheap. What's not to love?

works great for leveling the RV. Why? because it gives the tilt in degrees, one degree of tilt = one board under the opposite wheel, then just adjust the jacks to perfection. So much easier and more accurate than the old bubble level.

I saw this level and was excited at the concept. I use a level to setup my telescope and sometime is getting dark and hard to see a regular level. This had large numbers is bright and makes leveling my Telescope so much faster. I am very pleased with the ease of use and the construction, good quality. I may buy another one if I ever need a backup. This one will last for a long long time.

I liked the compact size and ease of use. I used to to level my pinball table to an ideal 6.5 degree angle up and down and 0.0 degree left to right.Much better than any cell phone app I have used. Previously I used a cell phone app for the up and down and it was off by a full degree. So if you are on the fence, definitely worth it. The factory calibration it comes with is flawless.

This device seems to have the ability to recalibrate upon site I really like that also it's easy to read it's lit up and I work in dark places with HVAC hoping it'll be beneficial in the future thank you
