Zur Aufbesserung einer Ledertasche.

First of all I think the product I received was used. It was thick and the bottle was not full. When I later received the Light Brown from the same manufacturer it was an obvious difference. Thin and smooth and filled to the top. As for the color, it’s very orange and did not work for the cognac shoes I was using it for. I purchased the Light Brown and mixed them however and it was much better. The pictures show the finished effect and some show the damage before also. I used a sponge craft brush and soaked the damaged areas then lightly covered the toe box and touched up other light damage on the sides. Then I wiped the toe box with a dry paper towel to remove the excess. I think the finished effect is a massive improvement and will be virtually undetectable from any distance. Once the paint dries I’ll polish with a cognac shoe polish and cross my fingers it will last a few uses. (These are my son’s uniform shoes that they destroyed the first day. This paint should help me get through the year without replacing them—I hope. They weren’t cheap!)Overall with the blended color I’m very happy. This is much cheaper than replacing items all the time. I also used the Light brown to touch up their dark brown belts and though it’s not a perfect match obviously, it does hide the damage pretty well. I’ll probably buy a jar of dark brown for next time though.

This is the 2nd time I've purchased this leather paint to restore some very old shoes. The shoe repairman told me to throw away them away but I could not find another pair like them. This time, I purchased the leather paint in cognac, along with the Leather Preparer and Deglazer. After preparing the shoes and then applying the first coat, they look like new! Will be applying a second coat to make sure. (The first time I restored a pair of white shoes.) Love this product!

Worked great! I used it on this old pleather chair and was nervous because it wasn’t real leather, and because it was teal, but it had great coverage. I mixed cognac and light brown together to get the color I wanted.
