Very good first book for Sand / Aqua bag warriors; from beginners to advanced.
This is a really good book for someone coming to Sand Bag / Aqua bag training for the first time. It is tempting to say that this is the only book on Sand bag training you'll ever need. But I would recommend Mathew Palfreys 150 High Intensity Workout book (see my review on that) to go with this for a fuller Sand / Aqua bag experience. This book, however, by Ben Hirshbery has everything; photos to guide you through basic and intermediate sand bag moves. Philosophy and psychology of Sand bag training. Also includes a unique five types of sand bag workout methodologies and loads of training approaches, tips and helps. Highly highly recommeded for beginners to advanced Sand baggers.

Sure there is better on subject.
Really basic info, low quality paper. Sure you can buy better more informed book on subject.

Decent for exercise ideas, terrible for theory
The author has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to general personal fitness and exercise theory. When reading the title again, I changed the rating from 3 stars to 2, as I realised the only thing that the book is good for is for watching, while books are intended for reading. Anyway, you'll get more value out of most sandbag exercise webpages. Some of the featured exercises in the book were also executed with a suboptimal form from the perspective of anatomy. I wouldn't buy it again, on the other hand, I don't regret buying it. Still helps when wanting to put together a quick workout, however, I am a personal trainer, so I know my stuff, if a beginner picks up this book, they will learn everything wrong.
